As a Floridian, I would prefer Ram allowed the user to set this. I would set mine to come on at 50 degrees or less.

Probably easier to get under there and take a look. Check the bushings. Make sure nothing came detached. Pretty simple look see.

I got a few but nothing too crazy. I do a lot of hwy miles too. I think it's hit or miss with these just like a few other things on these trucks. I got the exhaust leak and rear window leak problem. I'd rather have the paint chip problem. It would be nice not to have any of these problems...

EGR in channel too. Install was less than 5 mins each side.

I f its running fine except for ticking, check your fluids, get a uoa, use the lubrication methods recommended on here and take it from there. I find it hard to believe the truck drove in there fine except for a tick and they're telling you it's catastrophic failure. How did they confirm this...
