Paint correction simply means fixing the paint for defects. The dealers body shop can attempt this, but in many peoples experience, including mine recently, they will not do a good job and most likely will do more harm than good.
A good detailer will always suggest or include paint correction...
Just ordered the parts for myself. Got a dealer quoting $50 to flash. Parts will be here Monday or Tuesday and I'll install then.
Little tip to save an extra few bucks, if you put the parts in your cart and start to go through the checkout process (entering email and shipping info) and then...
I went through the same thing but mine is patriot blue. They took it for paint correction and in about 90% sure they waxed it and called it good, as well as putting a few more scratches on it for good measure.
When I said something about the new scratches and subpar "paint correction " they...
Ask to see the fine print. Usually if you get a rebate for using their financing and you refinance within a certain time frame THEY lose some incentives from FCA for that sale.

Nah, hands down readylift. But that rc lift looks tiny compared to it. But the other post would make sense, I guess the rc lift is a true level and looks like ready lift still gives you a little bit of rake.
Sad because the 4th gen rc lift was pretty decent. But I guess it's easier to cast a...
That is kind of the point but also not the point. I have seen that video which is actually part of what made me want to post this. The RC lift doesn't look like it would achieve the same lift as the ReadyLift kit so I was interested in how far off they are from each other in actual lift gained.
Nothing ever moves quickly. Either they run a cycle of once a month/every x weeks they cut the checks or something in the process actually takes that long.
I'm waiting on my taxes to be approved, had to fill out an injured spouse form while we take care of issues with my wife's student loan...
Can members that have either the Rough Country 3.5 lift or the Readylift 3.5 post their before/after measurements if they were taken? Or just the after measurements if before wasnt taken.
Also if the measurement can include if it was ground to bumper, ground to wheel well, center hub to wheel...
Just got back from a 1200 mile round trip marathon. Hauled a car about 620 miles for my brother and turned around and came straight back.
Trailer is a 6x16, weighs in at about 1900lbs empty. Has the full mesh ramp gate with reinforced wheel ramps on each side. With the car was pulling just...
There is a good detail shop near me that I can trust the work. 90% of the paint is flawless, they didnt swirl the paint at all. Just scratched the hell out of it in places. Almost looks like after it was washed and dried, someone walked around it and used a dirty rag to wipe stuff off. The hood...
Reading through this thread and seeing it mentioned in a couple other threads, I see that some of you have had issues with your VIN not being in the system to fill out the online application.
I already submitted mine (last night) and didn't test this, but I work as a software engineer so for...
I like the knob. Doesn't take long to get use to. I'd be fine with a column shifter or the knob, both work fine and I dont do much with the freed up space on the column.
Only gripe is when I get in our other vehicles I tend to turn the radio up instead of shift into drive. But that only...
I bought my truck a little over a week ago. As I posted in another thread when they washed it they installed quite a few scratches. I took it in for them to fix the scratches and picked it up today. I walked around and looked where they had scratched it and they looked better. I was in a hurry...
I'm looking forward to making it back to OBX. Haven't been in years.... ever since we got rid of our 06 Ram. The outer banks just isn't the same unless you are driving on the beach. I was travelling quite a ways for work each day and the truck ended up sitting 90% of the time because I was in...
I'm new here, just traded my 4th gen for a 5th gen. Patriot Blue paint. It was in their overflow lot and parked under a tree so it was dirty. I joked with the sales person that I was feeling slightly guilty because I hadn't given my truck a wash and wax yet and had been making a lot of trips to...
