Love the tire choice BTW, this is the same tire and size I decided to replace my AT3WAs with. Thanks for the confirmation pic, def gonna get these tires soon
From my math, with stock backspacing at +18mm and your -44 offset wheels, your new wheels will be 2.44" wider stanced. I plugged in some numbers using the "tiresize" website and it says your outer sidewall will be 3" further out.
-44 offset puts your wheels around 2" beyond the fender...
Called @RamCares and spoke with "Gagan" (after leaving a message with Debbie.) I was interested in opening a case and getting the ball rolling. I gave the rep the part number of the incorrect non-ORP coil spring that was on my truck when I bought it. I gave the rep the part number to the...
I thought about taking it in, then I remember all the issues that I find after a dealership does anything to my vehicles. Stripped bolts holding my skid plate from oil changes, mismatched paint from collision repair, fixing one issue half-assed and causing another, and the list goes on.
The...
Wondering if the PCM needs to be unlocked. I pulled up the instructions and read all over the website and couldn’t find anything about sending in the stock PCM or “must have unlocked PCM.”
This would be the first tuner that would be truly plug-and-play if that’s the case.
Interested in what...
Honestly, I don’t think the dealership (my dealership anyway) will do anything about it. Dropping the rear portion of the headliner seems easy enough for me to slap some dynomat up there. I’ve recently heard the doors start rattling as well with about 7k miles on it, so that’s gonna be next for...
So I sold cars once upon a time, sounds like the salesman offered the fox shocks (thinking they were just a standard shock). Most likely the sales manager told him to tell you it’s not offered in a 4x2 because it’s a $1300 upgrade. That would hurt their bottom line big time.
The mopar UCAs...
That’s where I went wrong, I should have called her first. I thought the dealership would just see the problem and make it right.
I’ll get ahold of Debbie and hopefully get this put to bed
The struggle continues...
I took my truck in to get the correct ORP springs installed and the service manager pulled up my vin and said “those are the right springs for your truck.” I showed him the spring part number sheet showing ORG vs normal spring applications. He said that my vin pulled...
From the very first time I turned the damn knob the wrong way, I thought about the gear selector on my 4th gen. It was a rocker switch on the column shifter. That up/down rocker would be SO much more intuitive. Up to go forward, back to go into reverse/park...maybe I’m splitting hairs here
I noticed that with traction control on, the truck will limit throttle on tire spin (cutting power). Also, I tested shift quickness between T/H mode on and with it off - it was night and day faster shifting with T/H on.
I smash those 2 buttons every time I go anywhere, because of that.
I appreciate the space it saves a lot, but I’ve turned the damn knob the wrong way so many times on accident. A simple up/down rocker would make so much more sense to me. I don’t mind living with it, but it’s only after twisting it the wrong way in traffic that it became a real pain.
This is why I’d love to have the keypad feature or something similar. My truck is pretty well equipped (BTS) but still I didn’t get the uconnect feature on mine. It would be handy to be able to stash my keys, but even then some vehicles won’t allow you to lock the doors if is senses the keys...
First of all, thanks to all of you for looking out. The coil part number sheet I screenshot and saved for later. The receipt/invoice is handy as well.
I would have been blissfully unaware of my non-ORP coils until someday wanting to add bilsteins or something.
Also, I see that I have the ORP...
