    2021 eco diesel gas mileage

I have over 46,000 km on my Rebel and the best I can do on the highway at average 110 km/h is 9.1 L/100km or 25.8 mpg USA gallon or 31 mpg Canadian gallon. Your truck is exceptionally good on fuel for a Rebel, 8.2 L/100km is actually 34.5 mpg Canadian gallon. What’s your diesel price out...

New emissions recall for the 3rd Gen diesels

I did get the oil change and the Y81 update done. Did not notice any difference in performance, fuel consumption or DEF usage yet because I haven’t been using my truck much, (retired and busy at home) I will be going for a 1000 mile trip soon and I will keep track of fuel consumption, def and...

    Oil analysis report.

Thank you so much for posting! I thought I was the only one using the T6 oil, I’m in the same boat as you, have been running T6 since the second oil change, I also did like to hear that your truck has more miles than my truck. My truck has 28,500 miles (46,000 km) and no mechanical issues, purrs...

    Diesel even worth it still?

I was replying to djevox’s post, he said he would like his next truck to be electric, but he put 9900 miles in four months on his current diesel truck, so I was asking him if he expected to get that type of mileage on an electric truck.

    Diesel even worth it still?

I really don’t think the a new electric truck would be capable of achieving 9900 miles in 4 month. Technology is not there yet. How many hours of charging would that be?

    Oil analysis report.

Is this analysis still with Pennzoil? Did you switch to Quaker State now? It will be interesting to see the difference between the two oils. It would also be interesting if someone had analysis using Shell Rotella T6. My 2020 Rebel Diesel got it’s 3rd oil change at 46,000km (28,600 miles)...

    Air Lift 1000HD Install

I had the Airlift 1000 in my 2011 Ram Outdoorsman for 9 years with no issues, the maximum pressure was 35 psi I bought my 2020 Rebel and installed the Airlift 1000HD maximum pressure is 50 psi, not long after installing them I added air without paying attention air heard a pop, busted one bag, I...

    2021 eco diesel gas mileage

When your truck reaches 8th gear the rpm is the same either towing or not, the only difference is that it will take longer to get to 8th gear when towing.

Weather Tech or Husky floor mat ?

Spray Nine works great, spray it on, let or sit a couple of minutes then wipe it off and your mats will look new.

New emissions recall for the 3rd Gen diesels

Was the work covered under emissions warranty? I know you have over the 60,000 km/ 3 year bumper to bumper warranty, I think I just remembered than you may have the extended warranty, You put a lot of miles on your truck, can you let us know of any changes in your truck’s performance and DEF...

Can y'all help me figure out my payload?

I am guessing the truck on order is a crew cab with the 5’7” box length, if it isn’t the payload might be different. My Rebel Crew Cab has some heavier options than what you have on order, the panoramic Sun roof, the Ramboxes, the 19 speaker Harmon Kardon speakers, 33” off-road 10 ply tires and...

Power Folding Tow vs Manual Mirrors

You posted a real good image, you would actually see further down the road from the driver’s side by not having the awning frame in the way, I think I would get a set of those mirrors before buying the replacement straps again. Thanks for the posting and image.

Power Folding Tow vs Manual Mirrors

They do look good and much better than my mirrors with the straps, I had to replace the straps and it was $20, the only thing is the ones you are suggesting are not quite as wide as my strapped mirrors.

Power Folding Tow vs Manual Mirrors

You have power folding but not power folding trailer towing mirrors. My Rebel has the power folding, I install the aftermarket mirror extensions held with rubber straps when I tow my 8 foot wide enclosed trailer, they are not the best but do the job.

    Siriusxm renewal

The downfall of going past the expiration date is that there will be an activation fee (approximately $35) added to the new subscription.

New emissions recall for the 3rd Gen diesels

Did you get the DEF system fixed? I think it was you that said the DEF tank had to be replaced and you could not get a rental truck.

New emissions recall for the 3rd Gen diesels

I received the notice to schedule an appointment for the Y81 update, I’ll get it done at the same time of the next oil change, it’s at 16% oil life.

Weather Tech or Husky floor mat ?

I got the OEM all weather rubber mats with my Rebel, they are really good. I bought second hand Weatherteck for my 2011 Ram Outdoorsman for the front, it went all across, much better coverage than OEM, the best thing to clean them was Spray 9, the downfall was it made them very slippery. The...

Looking to Mod my new Longhorn for MPG

Neat looking camper, It looks slightly narrower than mine and close to the same length. I believe you that it must drag you down, the design would actually increase the airflow going downward between your truck and trailer, I don’t think a skirt on the bumper would help much. I will post my...
