Very good looking truck and even better looking with those wheels!
Just a note, the Rebel comes standard with a 1” lift and a modified front bumper, it does not have the front spoiler, it has more wheel clearance, and has a steeper approach angle, the Back Country concept claims to have 37”...
I like the extended height of the ramboxes, but there is not much room on the top shelf, it’s long but not deep, it would also obstruct the rear/sideview, worse than a truck cap with windows.
The 5th gen Ram has increased the rotor dimensions by a good margin, and it comes down to when the rotors are larger it makes it easier to stop the vehicle, you can no longer fit 17” rims, my Rebel has the minimum of 18” rims and the front rotors are so close to the callipers, when I installed...
That’s funny, I would have expect a trailered snowmobile in that snow!
I was in a similar situation when I bought my trailer in January and brought it home in early March.
I had both vehicles, the Ram and the Caravan transmissions flush done at Mr. Transmission, next door the FCA dealer, the service was done before the warranty ended, the FCA dealer told me if a problem was discovered while servicing the transmissions it would be covered by FCA warranty.
Neither...
The transmission filter is a metal screen, it is not a paper filter like oil/fuel filters, replacement is not necessary, it can be flushed out or cleaned.
I had my transmission serviced on my 1994 Caravan and my 2011 Ram at a transmission shop next to my FCA/Stellantis dealer, the dealership...
I took some pictures in Port Aux Basque, Newfoundland of antique trucks and trailers, a group of retirees Stating in St. John’s Newfoundland and heading to Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. It rained like crazy the first day in Newfoundland. Also a picture of the view from the window of the...
North Sydney, Nova Scotia, also a view from our small camper window of the bridge to cross to get to the ferry to Newfoundland, 6 hour ferry travel. My navigation shows 177 km.
St. John’s Newfoundland harbour and Quidi Vidi Brewery Company, Iceberg beer made from massive icebergs that detach from the north Arctic and flow south in early summer.
You’re absolutely right about the difficulty of backing a small trailer. Did you ever try backing a small trailer behind a 4 wheeler ATV, that’s even worse!
Pics of my wife’s Jeep and my Rebel, I was moving the trailers around my property, The Jeep is capable of towing our small travel trailer but would definitely be noticeable than towing it with the Rebel. The Jeep has the 2L I4 Turbo and is rated at 4,000 lbs max trailer but a factory installed...
No more Diesel for the 1500 Ram, that’s too bad but it got me thinking, the 3rd generation Ecodiesel is their best one so far, well hopefully, and there won’t be performance upgrades from the manufacturer, so it will eliminate the temptation to exchange my truck because I plan on keeping it a...
I will not, I live 10 hours north of the US border. I’ve never had engine failure on any of my previous vehicles. I am simply curious to see if there would be a difference between oils.
I have seen on an oil analysis tread, that someone is using Quaker State oil, in his last 2 oil changes, the...
Nice pictures, pretty much open country there, not many trees to stop the wind. It looks like you have absolutely no neighbours.
I wanted to see where you were, I never heard of BLM land so I googled it, does it mean Bureau of Land Management? Then I searched Provo, that’s in Utah right.
I just...
Thanks for the link, I had never heard of renewable diesel, if it is better than fossil fuel diesel or B5/B20 biodiesel, it should be listed in the owner’s manual that renewable fuel B99 is an acceptable fuel or beneficial to use because of cleaner burn, better performance, less regenerations...
I put my vin number and the Z96 recall does show for my Rebel, no fix yet, but I found this document saying that notifications will be sent in December and the repair will be in the second quarter of 2023, that’s a long time, it also states that there’s been over 200 warranty claims since 2019...
