I have added the Power Service to every fuel tank during a 2,000 km trip towing my 8x16 enclosed trailer, I bought a CNC router machine it has 49”X50” table cutting size, I did 19.5 mpg on the way down with a slight tail wind, mostly in 8th gear, 17 mpg on the way back, 7th gear for a good part...
I have seen several videos of parts of vehicles or entire vehicles stolen right from the owner’s front yards, and to make things worse s that a lot of them are in front of their garages, I keep my vehicles locked up in my garage, summer and winter. Best theft protection.
I would suggest that you check the mpg manually, you might be even more disappointed, I know that my truck almost always has worse mpg than what it shows in the display, but my truck has the diesel, you might be lucky and perhaps your truck will be getting better than what is displays.
My truck...
Are you sure they are load range F, load range F is 12 ply and 95 psi, my OEM Rebel Duratrak tires are 10 ply, load range E air pressure of 80 psi.
The listed tire pressure on the truck is 55 psi on the front wheels and 45 psi on the rear wheels, I put 55 psi all around, and add more air to the...
RAM Cares had tried to help me when he replied to one of my earlier post, he had not realized that I am Canadian and his only suggestion was to call the Canadian FCA/Stellantis 1-800…help number from the owner’s manual.
It would be nice to have a RAM CAN (Canadian) Cares.
Please post your analysis when you receive it, I am really interested to see the results because I have been using the same oil as you, Shell Rotella T6 since the first oil change, my truck has 65,000km or 40,000 miles, oil changes near 16,000km or 10,000 miles each time and when the truck calls...
The 5.9L Cummins is bullet proof, I understand what your saying about blowing black smoke from your 2006 5.9L Cummins, your truck does not have all the emissions control like my 2020 Rebel 3L Ecodiesel, I sincerely doubt I would ever see black smoke coming from my exhausts.
To use 8 oz of Power Service, I will use the funnel that came with the truck and keep it in the Rambox, I will also keep a measuring container filled with the Power Service.
Did you ever have problems regarding your Cummins engine or problems with your fuel/pump/injectors system? Did you use the fuel additives to prevent engine/fuel system issues? or did have problems with the engine/fuel system that made you decide to use the fuel additives, to prevent the problems...
Has anyone used the fuel additive brand name Power Service, Diesel Kleen + Cetane Boost, it is endorsed by Cummins, and is available at Canadian Tire, Walmart…. it’s not concentrated like Hot Shot edt meaning it will take 8 ounces to treat 25 gallons, and is comparable in pricing if you were to...
My dealer and I also get along well, even though I purchased my truck in Toronto, 8 hours south of my home, my guess is that your dealer is hoping a fix will be available by the time your appointment is up. I find that it should not be a hard fix because the trucks built after July 2022 are not...
This is from an earlier post from CDSONS
“120,000 miles, I've used Rotella T-6 since first oil change, also run truck stop DEF. I haven't had any mechanical issues yet, and the only issue I have had were that the auto high beams would disable themselves for no reason.”
2020 Laramie 4x4...
Usually there is a second notification sent to all owners with a standing recall, saying parts or programming is available and it asks the owners to schedule an appointment to get their vehicles corrected.
Did you get a notification?
Stock Rebel, no tunes.
64,000km no engine troubles, oil changes done by truck’s requests, usually between 15,000 and 16,000km, done at the local dealer, 5w40 Shell Rotella T6 for all oil changes, it’s not the oil that the manual specifies but is what the dealer recommends and uses for all...
12k miles is very low, I would not be afraid to purchase a buy back with plenty of warranty included, unless that you hate the dealership and can’t get along with them, that could be an issue specifically if there are no other dealerships near you.
I bought 9 of 10 new FCA/Stellantis vehicles...
I should add something, replacing the fuel filter will drain the low pressure side and is easily primed by cycling the ignition a few times as said in members posts. If someone was to run out of fuel it would empty both low pressure and high pressure system, and would likely require more engine...
