Fire, thanks a lot man. I went ahead and used the "add a fuse" .......but you showing me the location of the fuse box and which fuse slot to use is what got this done. Thanks a lot. Nicely powered on with the engine....and off when the truck is off. I only use my radar detector on trips....which...
beautiful truck. I'm so glad you didn't let this ac thing stop you from getting the truck you want. I don't doubt that some people are having issues, but forums are tricky (extremely small sample size). There are some widespread problems on the Harley Forum that would scare the heck out of...
Fire, this is the kit (pic attached) I got that goes with my radar detector. Looks like, based on your pics, I don't need to buy "add a fuse" because I have an inline fuse like your kit. So, I could just snip off the end of the red wire and wrap it around a fuse as you did right??? That's the...
800 miles on my Long Horn. Upper 90s, but reading 100 all last week. My truck sits outside from 7am-430pm. If I don't put a window shade up, the wood on my steering wheel is too hot to even touch. Even with the shade up, the wood is still pretty warm....as are the metal Long Horn emblems, etc...
I've changed 1,00000000 times in the 400 miles I have so far :) Right now I have nothing in the top right/left corners because there is a real cool theme that has these Long Horn "swirls" up there when blank.
My God, my 16 GMC (just traded) did it all the time. Funny thing is, it didn't really bother me until I read on the forum about it..... lol. It was always confused between 2nd and 1st depending on speed.
My 19 did it once, but it was a quick take off from gas station with quick acceleration up...
oh one more thing .....so, I'm new to Ram.....but I regret having all the long time Ram owners looking into my windows and walking around it and taking pics at Jersey Mike's today. lol ..........guess they either like it, hate it, or they're not sure
300+ miles I think......extremely happy. I thought my dang pano roof was rattling.....I got kinda nervous and then I climbed in back and the back seat wasn't "pushed/attached" all the way into the rear catches. Problem solved. Now if I can stop going out and sitting/playing with the settings...
Amen to HONDA!!!!!! I just sold a 2001 Honda Civic. My daughter graduated HS in 2016 and I bought her a new 16 Civic. I'm confident with her driving back and forth to college and around her college city.
I have 12" ......no issues at all yet with iPhone 8 plus .........but I haven't had any incoming calls yet. LOL But the bluetooth pandora, announcement of text messages, etc are all good
I haven't CarPlay yet because that ram phone charger is just so nice to use. In my GMC, I used CarPlay...
Truth be told, I don't find this alarming. This is just where mass manufacturing is these days with all of the outsourcing, cheaper parts, cheaper labor, importing of materials. This is also where any manufacturer is with a brand new release. I went to the Harley plant in York, PA to see them...
But also be a little careful. Here is what I mean. I bought a new release 2017 Harley when it switched to the milwaukee 8. Folks took to the Harley forum to totally destroy its reliability. Yes, there were and still are some issues. Those people were telling the truth about their issues. But...
Not sure which one you ordered.....I've seen two styles. One is a plain top/smooth cover that looks like it doesn't fold, but it does and it sits too high for my liking. But alot of Ram guys love that cover and its a great cover. Another one is a tri fold that has panels like mine and sits...
tri fold tonneau (bed) cover. I advise to do a quick youtube search to get a much better answer. I'm not sure what sort of cover you're looking for or what will suit your needs.
To you guys still waiting, please hang in there. This was my first, ever, order. I always just chose something on the lot. My supervisor, a diehard Ford guy, never buys off the lot. He says ......man, order and get it exactly like you want it. So, I listened to him this time. I didn't settle for...
the holes come already drilled into the bumper........the first time I've ever seen that. I don't like the look of just empty holes. Comes from factory with those holes there
who else has a plate on the front? I notice the top holes used to secure the plate don't really allow the screw to screw in and "snug up" to the bracket.....it's almost like it's meant to just push in versus screw in. Do I go in under the bumper and attach a bolt to the rear. I usually don't do...
Well it’s official. Man this dang brown interior is why I had patience. And The rustic bronze metal and door handles. . Man!!! I’m not gonna waste my time trying to explain what I love, but this Brown is crazy!! So I refused to show my wife the truck before today. She had no idea other than it’s...
well mine went D1 on June 1 and shipped June 25. What status are they giving you right now.? Has it been built? Has it shipped? I'll admit, mine went pretty quickly.....and most of us only trust MOTS. But I found that Ram gave me some pretty good updates up until the truck shipped.
