Pat, automotive vehicle sales, by design of the manufactures, are a negotiated (confrontation) one that is motivated by self interest (greed). I was reading a article somewhere about car dealers/salesman and the author said that they are only concerned or interested in making a immediate sale...
Please accept my most humble apologies, no disrespect or criticism was intended, (the dumb guy referenced in my post was me, not anyone else). I was unfortunately under the mistaken impression that this post was about a upgrade from the tow mirrors to the power fold and also add the surround...
Well kind of, if your not paying attention , make assumptions, don't read the fine print, and blinded by new paint smell (aka dumb) and think that tow mirrors should power fold or come with 360 camera camera then they don't, ....................... but you do get to pay $ 575.00 (cdn) for them...
There is NO such thing! Short update under the heading of putting my money were my mouth is. Talked to my local dealer, he is going to get back to me , that was two weeks ago. Searched with great difficulty FCA inventory, found two, one is in transit but is a long box, not sure about that, the...
........ hum, how did you know that happened to me, first it was the carnival and I thought I had leaned my lesson , and now 50 years latter its Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and I fell for it again!
I know it is "buyer beware" and do your due diligence but at what point does it become at the best...
Well at least it wasn't close to a $ 80,000.00 Canadian Limited, that because I didn't do my research (homework) BEFORE I bought, it will not fit in my garage with the tow mirrors unless I manually swing them in. (I'm a dumb a$$)
....love the picture of your dog.
Hum, I to got blinded by the new paint smell and assumed that the trailer tow mirrors were power fold, (dumb a$$ me). It would not be such a big deal if I hadn't bought a new storage tent without checking the width. (double dumb a$$). Have to fold the mirrors every-time I use it. I took my...
This post seems to have morphed from one about negative comments to one about the pros and cons of new model problems.
Because I buy a lot of new vehicles (I need intervention) and rebuild old ones I frequent a lot of automotive forums as my interests dictate. My first very obvious impression...
Some observations from a new car buying ADDICT (I need intervention); unfortunately vehicle buying is designed by the manufactures and dealers to be a adversarial process, therefore it is strictly based on greed, unlike other product retailers that post their selling price, the dealerships /...
I must be missing something here, I have a Limited with the black seats and not only are they boring and nondescript, the leather feels hard and not luxurious at all. ( But I'm old and the eye sight is deteriorating. ) Disappointed, mostly with myself, I really like nice interiors but the fresh...
I am in kind of a similar situation, I bought a Limited at not the closest dealer (price) with the expectation of getting service done there. It was my fault (fresh paint sickness) for not reading the contract at the point of sale after mentioning numerous times that I wanted no extras but the...
Not that my opinion matters much and I'm sorry if it hurts a little, but one of the reason I decided to move to a Ram, is that they got rid (for the most part, especially on the Limited) of that butt ugly nostril grille design. The 2019 is a very attractive truck. :)
Good luck. The automotive retail market is a adversarial one, rather then offering the best possible price first (like most other retailers) they start high and negotiate. Fortunately for them, they have a captive market that has to have the newest and best (a human fault?) that apparently can...
YES! And this is on a $ 85,000.00 Canadian Limited. Somewhere inside the configurable (?) centre console that the owners manual has no information that I could find, but I did download a manual that had a little info. It is so nice and smooth and quiet on the pavement but on bumpy gravel roads...
