Lowered the rear 2" last night.

Look at it like this, the top 3 coils sit in top each other. The coil is about 1/2” thick so to get 1/2” drop, one full coil needs to come off.

Lowered the rear 2" last night.

You have to cut from the top. Typically the rule is one at the spring equals two at the truck. Meaning with the spring out, standing up, measure the overall height. If it’s 18”, you go down the coil to where it measure 17 1/2”. That should give you 1” drop. BUT, since the top three are sitting...

Lowered the rear 2" last night.

Yes, the top 3 coils are compressed on each other. That gave me fits when cutting the passenger coil to even the height from side/side.

Yes you need to use the rubber. I took the rubber out and put grease in it then on top the spring to hold it then put them in place.

    Ride difference with 22

I have 22s but put a 305/45. Doesn’t ride as good as the 20s but still ride pretty dang good. I don’t have air ride either.

they are 22x9. If you have air ride suspension and entry assist it lowers the front at least an inch I thought. Crawl under the truck when it’s in that position and look at the clearance. I’m fairly certain it could take an inch with no issues.

I haven’t looked at the front closely but I would like to drop it down about an inch.

Lowered the rear 2" last night.

idk if mine settled any. Maybe a little bit my passenger side was higher by 3/4” than drivers so I cut about a coil off passenger side and now they pretty close but may have brought both side sides down a little.

    Inez 3/5 lowering kit installed

looks good. I’ve always rathered a lowered truck. Less fender well space always makes a truck look better. I just don’t want to go that low. Waiting patiently for a 2/4 drop.

    "DIABLO" MODIFIED PCM & INTUNE I3 COMBO 2019 5.7L - 8S ETQ 1500 - PKITDR57ET19-I3

Anyone get one of these combos yet? The issue people been having with the pulsar makes me nervous to get on of those and this is the newest from Diablo so figure it should be more reliable.

    Wheels and tire sizes

These are 305/45/22. Wheel is a 22x10 with +25 offset. Your wheels are 22x9 with +19 offset. My wheels have right at 3/4” more wheel inside than yours. I was worried about rubbing so i added 1/4”spacers. I have no rubbing. You won’t either. Your tire is 32.1” tall and 11.2” wide with 5”...

Official Ivory White Tri-Coat Pearl Thread

I'm also digging the chromed wheels. I was undecided between the ones I got and ones chromed just like them. Only reason I went with what I have was to match my boat.
