I never got them back from the shop 😑 thank you for referencing their website I just looked it up and it said to set them to 2.5” coupler to coupler, I’m just going to remove them from the truck and set them both at 2.5” and adjust the rear from there.
I did try to adjust both ends while moving the nut, problem is I was trying to measure via a 48” level on the bed but everything was getting out of wack.
Measuring from the center of my wheel to the fender I got the following measurements. Front Driver: 24.75”, Front Passenger 24.25”, Rear...
having a couple issues today, but for right now I cannot get the link to close all the way. Passenger front is closed all the way to its shortest length however the driver front won’t twist more than this. Any ideas on what to do or do I just have to raise the passenger side?
Edit: added photos
Do I have to remove the link from the truck to adjust it or can I adjust it while they’re on? When I measured mine yesterday the link was right about 2”
I almost want to make out the front then just level the back with front being max height or is that a bad idea
I just did this an my front is quite low. I had a shop install these, so I have 2 questions if you don’t care. To raise the front, am I turning clockwise or counterclockwise? Also, I’m assuming that when I am maxed out it just won’t turn anymore? I just want to make sure there’s no risk of me...
Come down here to the south and trust me you’ll still need the app from time to time. Some of these guys from the mountains you can’t understand a word they say.
I just got my rear links installed (front were installed 2 weeks ago) and the truck seems to be riding lower? I measured the link itself in the front and they are 2” so maybe I’m just losing it.
Would you mind checking the distance between the center of your wheel & fender? Mine is 24”~ and I’m...
This is what I did. I spoke with probably 4 or 5 people and after demanding a supervisor to 3 of them a lady finally got back to me who has been much better and far more helpful.
I don’t have any social media but I will def hit you up after I have everything in hand. Might take a month or two to save up for everything but at least it’ll be quality I appreciate all your help answering my questions
I’m not going to lie, after we spoke about the switch pro I’ve looking into those and kind of figuring out what I want to get and after reading this breakdown it has me twisted lol. I don’t have any real off road shops near me so I’m pretty SOL and have to try it myself anyway so it what it is I...
I’m leaning towards BD at the moment, @boogielander was telling me a little about his experience with them and the fact that they’re in the US is a plus. I’m a believer in the buy once cry once when at all possible. I wanted to get an exhaust next but now seeing that kit has be thinking better lol
Wow those are a lot brighter than I was expecting. Do you recall what model squadron you have? Also, do you have affiliate links to get credit for sales on BD or other light manufacturers?
I know you posted this awhile ago, but I just checked your site and you’re still selling them. Can you post a pic of what the lights look like at night if you don’t mind? I’ve been trying to find a lowkey way to incorporate some lights into my truck and this seems perfect.
And FWIW, I love the...
Thanks for the write up boogie, I was checking out BD because I had seen their name thrown around a hunch I didn’t even realize they were American which I like. My son’s getting a little older now and I want to start taking him camping so that’s what got me into researching lighting. I wish I...
