    Air Suspension Reviews

Ok cool. Man I'm excited. The interior on this thing is amazing. The unit I'm going to check out is also about $5,000 less than more fully loaded Limited Models and stuff with air suspension so pretty excited. Mileage is low too. What kind of ummm issues should I be looking for? Again, never...

    Air Suspension Reviews

So I'm going to test drive a Ram 1500 Longhorn tomorrow with the fixed spring suspension. This is the very first time I'll be driving one of these behemoths. Should I drive the air suspension equipped version FIRST and then this one or the way I am doing it currently. Also just to be clear, even...

Are you sure? So what I read somewhere, might not have been here, is that the system is definitely not closed. So the explanation was that the system can actually suck in or blow out air as needed. This, supposedly, is why these things "tick" and "whistle" randomly even when just sitting there...

One last thing is these are not closed systems so the air compressor actually sucks in AIR when it needs to right? So do you intentionally get an Air Nitrogen mix in addition to air that cause turn to water under compression..

Amazing. I also found a post where a guy claims to put in a few drips of Air Brake Defrosting fluid into the hose out back by the right rear taillight assembly. Still working to understand this but I believe the process is the air brake defrosting fluid's vapors rid the system of condensation...

    Air Suspension Reviews

So just so I understand this more clearly. The idea with the air suspension models is - during an extended cold period- you wanna put a couple small drops of Air Brake Antifreeze into that hose out back by the rear right tail light then eh? The idea is the fumes from the Air Brake antifreeze...

    Air Suspension Reviews

Good advice. So as a non Truck guy should I seriously consider doing this if I buy my first Ram and it has air ride? Would there be other Gen 5 owners of '19 or '20 trucks that have had sufficient time/mileage to verify this procedure? Probably not eh?

    Ride Quality

Hi I'm new I own an A4 but I really like these Ram 1500s. So question is I found one that is a Longhorn with the non air ride suspension. Is it true that these trucks have fully independent coil spring suspensions (like a car) versus leaf springs out back? So I guess the point about this would...

Okay so I actually found a Limited Longhorn without the air suspension. I guess the next obvious questions are: a) is it true these had coil springs out back, thus making them (much) better driving than an F-150 or Sierra and b) but is the air suspension even better riding than that and if so...

Okay cool good [actually great] to know. May-be this is what the Sales person was talking about when she said a re-design. The re-design is a more sensitive set of sensors (which in turn) maintain the integrity of the overall system and increase reliability. Hmmm....really want a truck man! They...

Yeah be good to know if any '19 or '20 Limited owners are experiencing issues with the AS. Me thinks too early to tell in most cases.

Ok thanks Fbatwork. Totally dig the [broad] differences between the Ram and the Audi. Focus is Air suspension and I suppose getting extra warranty coverage is A solution. But the core issue I am driving towards is the thing I was told by the Salesperson who said FCA re-designed the air...

Ok amazing thanks. Yeah this 2020 Limited is like twice the size of my car. Massive. Comfortable. But I wonder whether it will fit into an underground parking garage.

    Long time Audi Owner Here

Long time Audi owner currently exploring a Ram 1500 Limited. I really don't know much about trucks at all and boy was I impressed by the size of these things. They don't look that big on the road but the interior is significantly bigger than my Audi. I'm worried about the Air Suspension's...
