Pretty sure you have to program it to work and the. It’s just another sequence on the remote.
Like hold unlock and the windows go down. Or 3x unlock press and they go down.
This is crazy. I have seen some crazy electronic bugs with mine as well, but not that bad.
This was my fear of buying a vehicle built during covid
The good part is it’s under warranty. The bad part is waiting on warranty repair due to parts not being avail
I get they don’t buy it for one feature, just trying to figure out what someone would want it for that has no plan to mod their truck.
None of the options above interest me except the mirror control.
I’m not willing for the truck as a whole to be a headache over a hacked raspberry pi. Lol.
Probably the same reason why they don’t shut when you turn the car off.
Honestly it probably wouldn’t be that hard to set a trigger or relay or something to do this.
Figure out a way to pulse a relay when the door lock and unlock and wire the pulse trigger to the mirrors
I know I over simplified...
Now that you mention it, I swear mine got water on the driver side floor at times too. I never stressed it much as I had rubber mats, but it has happened a few times.
All the points you mentioned were sore points for me as well though
Thanks for the view.
Tech wise my Ford’s have been pretty good to me. Overall running they have too.
My Ram has had some tech glitches already. I am trying to overlook them and just blaming on planetary alignments causing strange things to happen. Lol
IMHO 360 cameras are a must have on big vehicles. I did not have it on my last truck and wished I had it all the time. I ordered my new truck without it too and was back and forth about the money savings. Since that order fell through and I got my Laramie instead, I am very happy that I got them...
It does not need to be removed by a professional. It’s just a clear film like people used to put on their cell phones basically
Yes it will break down. We have all seen them get chewed up and yellow and crack. While I am sure technology has gotten better and proper care helps, yes it won’t last...
I by no means think it is easy, but Jesus if you guys are happy with that quality of work, I cannot imagine me doing it would be much worse.
Sure the individual grille slats would be difficult, but I probably would not even care to have those done.
For the price people are paying, I rather pay...
Put it this way, it can’t be any worse that what was posted.
If that is what you expect of pro quality, I feel bad for what you have available for pros near you.
If you think the work above is “pro work” I am concerned.
This pro for a trailer park in Kentucky maybe.
The OP isn’t terrible, but the second guy that I was replying to is very bad.
I’d be pissed over that work.
That’s like what you pay a meth head $50 to score his next bag for.
Sorry but, it’s...
I’m sure it is, but not thousands hard.
Pretty sure I can do as good a job as the bunk stuff posted above and I’m half retarded with no prior skill. Lol
