I never said that. Again you do not understand mechanics or tuning in the slightest bit.
Again if you can provide actual data, we can certainly continue this conversation in an intelligent fashion
Your edit does not change the facts.
There is no PcM value that “keeps up with exhaust flow”
If you can tell me the actual value, I would love to learn something new today
I see now. My bad. Cold weather is not his issue, it’s his battery. He is just confusing the cause and trying to work around it instead of fixing his battery issues.
It is apparent you suffer from reading comprehension.
I said you do not need to tune for exhaust work and that exhaust has nothing to do with parameters that get modified in a tune.
All free flowing exhaust work uncorks power. The point is that exhaust work has nothing to do with tuning and is...
I think your missunderstanding of how mechanics works shows here, hence why your opinion should not be taken on tuning.
I very explicitly stated there is no change to fuel/spark/incoming airflow by adding exhaust work.
This comment has nothing to do with 1000hp builds.
Exhaust flow simply...
How does an exhaust change airflow exactly?
There is literally nothing an exhaust will do to cause a lack of performance, or detonation or fueling changes or map/maf voltage changes.
Unless you personally are a tuner, you aren’t teaching me anything I do not already know about modding cars...
False
Again your tune knows nothing of anything exhaust wise. Even if you remove cats, all that will be done is shutting off the 02 feedback or mil status
Tunes are fuel/timing tables/maybe some shift points for autos and maybe some extra annoyance features.
You do not need to tune for headers
Exhaust work has absolutely nothing to do with a tune and vice versa.
The only relevance is if you want to shut off the sensors
You probably have a bad o2 or bad connection to the o2.
Cels only really come on if you don’t plug them back in or have lack of catalyst (ie: remove cats and the sensor is post cat.
Sounds like you have never met the conditions above then.
I have experienced the fuel level thing many times as well as the cel once.
It’s a thing, life isn’t always full of perfect scenarios.
I have a roll up hard cover from Truxedo. I opted for this because I wanted full unobstructed bed access without blocking my back window and wanted some security
Best money I spent was getting one of the hard rolling covers. I have not a fear in the world about weight on it or people slashing it to get in my bed.
The cheaper vinyl ones can be a pain in the *** with shrinking and weight and security
3.92’s aren’t terrible gas mileage by any means.
Not towing I have seen upwards of 18-19 mixed and 20-21 highway. Towing I typically get 11.5 with my 3.92’s and loaded rig.
Recently my gas mileage has dropped a good bit and more like 16.5 mpg not towing and mixed driving pretty consistently. I...
I did the buy 3 get 1 free from the dealer on my Terraincontact HT’s last month.
The price beat every other option around considering installation. (I beat everyone up to make sure I am getting the best price)
The only place that I recall being close was Walmart, and I preferred using the...
Ok, your prior post said residual was $56k range. If it was $36k, then maybe more palletable, but to get a lower payment you either add more cash, or get the vehicle cheaper.
Don’t you need to be ex military to get loans through them?
If so, I am talking mere pleb rates. Being ex military is not a fair comparison as they always get ridiculously low rates
There may have been some creative numbers by the dealer. Great to have a low payment and all, but your payments literally took nothing off the residual. It would not have made sense for you to buy the truck.
My residual was $36k and I put zero down.
Leases can get very creative at times it...
