Seems that trying to hold a particular speed with steady, moderate acceleration is worse than going pretty well past the speed you actually want to go and then easing off/coasting and letting the inertia/momentum of the big @$$ truck carry itself for a while.
I used a couple of these and they were nice, sturdy, tough, stain resistant, good coverage BUT you have to put something undneath it, like a towel or something, otherwise it'll press a pattern into your seat.

Pretty much all EPA ratings are like that though, they assume optimal conditions because they can…even though it makes no sense lol.
My Cherokee actually did better than it's EPA ratings, but my Grand Cherokee and my Ram have definitely been worse, though the Ram has actually been closer than...

"70 mph" there's your second problem.
Don't use cruise, stay around 65, you'll see a noticeable improvement.
IMO, this has at least something to do with why manufacturers are starting to move toward a more custom order-focused model. I think if they can figure out a way to start cutting the dealers out in certain situations, they're going to. They'd obviously keep more of the profits.
Always best to have more bed than you need, than need more bed than you have ;)

How about the overall ride comfort? Feel like LT is overkill for my purposes but I've heard everything from "just air them down a bit and the ride is about the same, maybe better!", to "totally screws up Ram's famously smooth ride, potholes feel like kidney punches and even smooth roads are...
