It is different, has something to do with the air suspension I think. I still got a noticeable improvement though (middle setting).
Edit: I feel like if the stock bar was adjustable like the Hellwig, and you could put it at a tighter setting, that would probably do the trick.
You can get pretty close to that package by adding the Off-Road Group (which you can do even with the 6'4'' bed) and a few other things. There's a couple of minor unique touches on the Back Country but it's basically just a combination of a few other packages for a slight discount.
Because many of us (including me) tried doing just the links and the ride went to sh*t. Trust me, this truck is not meant to go go 70 in OF1. Even at town cruising speeds it's bouncy af.
Great looking rig man!
Trying to ask everyone I see with these tires (as in, 285/55r22, which are LT's), how is the ride vs a non-LT tire? Does the extra sidewall make up for stiffer construction?
Cool, any noticeable hit to your MPGs form the level/LT tire combo? Did you get your speedometer adjusted? Kinda of dreading having to spend $300 for a Tazer just to do that haha.
¼ inch of rake is perfect.
How do those 285/55's ride? Trying to decide between those and 305/45's but am worried about the weight and sidewall stiffness of the LT's.
Well, I don't know that he would SAVE $10K, it would probably be about the same amount, or a little more. The difference is that it would be a brand spanking new 2022, not a used 2020 with 17k+ miles.
Not true! Just need to be smart, and look for the dealer that's actually willing to, you know, deal lol
Means you may have to go out of state but good prices are out there. It's just before you could make dealers fall over themselves trying to win your business, now you have to hunt down a...
@Mountain Whiskey this guy is considering 3.21's, stop him immediately.
But seriously, nice build, nothing too fancy, just straightforward truckin!
I do think the $700 for the Alpine speakers is worth getting though, unless you are planning to put a different even better system in on your own.
285/45's ride just fine (that's what I have right now) but they just don't quite look right to me, especially as far as filling the wheel well, especially if you're lifted/leveled. 305/45's are honestly not quite there either but that's as big as you can go afaik without hitting LT.
High volume dealer down in Louisiana, but they will ship wherever and their prices are generally so good that even with a delivery charge you still save money (or you can go pick it up yourself, save even more, and have a nice break-in road trip back home). There's a dedicated thread for them...
