I built an elevator, to make use of a huge unused attic space above, so I could fit the new truck in the garage
Forgive the poor quality pic, it's a screen shot from a video.
This rock garden is I think on the second half of the kokopelli trail from CO to UT. This section is know as the Rose Garden Hill, which if I am not mistaken, is in Moab,UT. It was one of my favorite trips.
found it in the Laramie...it is in the same spot as in the pdf. It is literally behind plastic trim just below the BCM. The other two that are visible w/o panel removed might be CAN C or something else. Maybe CAN before gateway. You have to remove the plastic trim piece to access the CAN IHS...
Nice 4runner..here is Booger, coming down the rock garden on the kokobelli trail... Let me know if you prefer I not share this pic on your buildpage and I will delete it. Just wanted to share why you don't linex stuff that will come in possible contact with rocks.
Found an interesting PDF document someone made that shows how to make the canbus wire/plug and where it goes(last page) would be easy to make a wire and route it to the back seats for the rear module (this would add that missing last mile I mentioned with body wiring)...
Below 40F is when it auto kicks on...just wish it would do it for the passenger too, when a passenger is detected and last passenger state was heated seat on. Maybe a firmware update 🤔
That sucks! Good luck getting them to fess up. The first ding is not so bad, but the second one has a crease and those are nearly impossible to get out clean. A body shop would probably find it easier to replace the entire panel, than try to get that dent out.
sweet truck. Don't linex the skid plate. linex will peel the second you hit a rock. just paint it. I have an 07 FJC called Booger, that has the body linex'd. all parts that can hit rocks ( bumpers, skids, sliders) are just black. I personally knew many in the FJ community that sprayed linex on...
Here is a page to find your rear wire harness.

The trick to this site is to look at all [ ... ] entries and chose the harness that matches what you have...
Purchased Laramie Ram and Jeep Cherokee for wife. Financed 10k each to get get the extra rebates. Held the loans for a month and paid them off. Could care less if the dealer lost their kickbacks, they were asshats anyhow 🤣
Your welcome.
If I am not mistaken, the switches are ground pin control like everything else. Each time you push the button, it pulls a pin on some ecu to ground. And that ecu then sends the signal via canbus to the heater/vent modul as to what level it should be at. The other pins on the...
someone else posted two threads asking about heated vented rear seats. in those 2 threads I posted all the part numbers. maybe it will help, but as for body harness, it gets expensive fast if you don't have it from the factory...
Posted this in the other thread you created..don't know why you made 2 threads of the same subject...but here it is again
6EM19TX7AB rear heated/vented switch left
6EM18TX7AB rear heated/vented switch right

linux will hold on plastic just fine. I linex an entire FJ cruiser years ago, including the plastic mirrors. has held up well

@turkeybird56 , thanks for the response. Not sure if the e-torque have a 12V starter. I thought 48V e-torque system starts the car. If there is still a 12V starter, then the 12V tender should be enough.
EDIT: just read it still has a conventional 12V starter for cold start ups. Still would be...
