I thought it was pretty bad myself, they are fixing it, I am a bit upset this is the 3rd time the truck is at the dealer for this issue. Thankfully I have another vehicle, I just can’t see what would happen if something major breaks.
Upon a better look that’s what appears to be the case.
Dealer agreed and ask to bring it in this week. Hope they swap it for a new gasket and not just try to make this one fit, looks damaged in a few spots.
I was gone for work when the truck was dropped off, this was after they did a “fix” and it didn’t work so they decided to replace it.
I just got back and looking at the glass it looks like crap now, any recourse on my end? Truck is a 22 limited.
Heard from the service advisor, they are not replacing the glass at all, but having the leak “fixed” by a local glass guy.
I personally don’t care as long as it does not leak, but the engineers that worked on that design needs to adjustment, **** poor.
Nope.
My 22 just got dropped off, the service advisor found a crack on the top plastic frame and said most likely that’s what it is, the leak was about and inch away from the crack too.
Perhaps.
But come on! Is not new and has quite a bit of use, is not like it’s peeling or ripping. Nothing last forever.
If it came across that bad, I apologize OP.
