Due to my battery drain issues I put a lot of thought into it and decided that adding any more accessories wasn't a good idea right now and asked for a refund on the light bar. Oracle were quick to respond and issue a refund. So far the H8 battery I bought has been going strong with no issues. I...
Yeah that's a weird thing with Tdot. I've ordered several things from them over the years and never had an issue. The Hellwig sway bar is a worthy investment though. I would check around to see where else you can grab one.
I bought the Borla Touring from partsengine.ca in July and paid $1,270.32. There was some sort of discount on the receipt (I can't remember what it was though). That was the best price I found in Canada at that time. I also bought the Hellwig swaybar in July from Tdot so I don't know what that...
I love the 5" Borla tips I think they look awesome. That's subjective though just like sound. I was much happier with the overall look once the install was done. The look of the 5" tips coupled with the resonators gone really enhanced the look of the back of the truck IMO. I do still have the...
A few reasons really. I decided a while ago that I'm going to keep this truck longer than I normally would with the decline of the V8 and more and more twin turbo V6's replacing them (which I'm not interested in). I'm also going to do a custom tune on the truck when my warranty is up so a full...
I swapped the Magnaflow for a Borla touring full catback during the summer. I'm also not an MDS guy though I did test it the first day it was installed and I remember it was easy to hear the exhaust note change when the MDS kicked in, though I wouldn't call it an annoying sound.
I have a CTEK battery charger and put it on the Odyssey when I got home that day and left it on the entire night. Drove to work the following morning and when I arrived I thought about putting the charger on during my shift (I work 12 hour shifts) but I decided not to and see what happens. After...
I have the Touring and while it's loud on a cold start I don't consider it to be loud in the cab while cruising. No trouble to hear it when you walk on it though.
Yes I've done so many tests during the last year with both the stock battery and the Odyssey H7 that I bought. First off, I kept my stock battery around and it's still fine when I thought it was the issue. That didn't bother me though as I was quite willing to replace it with an AGM battery. I...
I picked both lead acid and AGM in the list. My stock battery was replaced by an Odyssey H7 AGM and that died on me yesterday (roughly 9 months). I'll be joining the H8 club shortly and if that dies on me in an unreasonable time I'll be joining a different truck club!
AlfaOBD can do this as well along with a plethora of other things. I also changed my DRL's to the amber turn signals and added the option on the CSM (Uconnect screen) to turn them off altogether if I wish.
Well it's hard to say at this point. He's a new member who was probably just excited to post about his new truck. I'm convinced he innocently thinks his truck is a Rebel, could be wrong though. Hopefully he reports back at some point.
On another note, this thread has been the most popular...
Well at the end of the day it doesn't matter where it's made or what country it's made for and people can call them whatever they want but as most of us here know already:
This is a Rebel:
And this is not:
