My aging mom just had knee replacement surgery, so my step dad cut the brackets off of the factory steps and lengthened them like 2 inches or so. The regular steps sit so close to the door sill height that they really don't make a huge difference. I am in no way implying that they are all like...
I agree with Flyfingers, the ones you are looking at are kind of small. Not sure your vertically challenged pregnant wife would be keen on making sure her foot placement is in the right spot. The power running boards come down so much further than those bolt on boards, so it gives you a better...
I use Waze too. It just seems that it should work as intended. I had 2 Fords with Nav before this and they worked pretty damn well. Uconnect is terrible in my opinion.
I have had very little luck trying to say what my destination is and actually have the truck get it right. Even simple addresses, the Nav is not even close to what I asked for. I know I am from South Louisiana, but I really don't have a waterboy accent or anything.
Has anyone else had problems...
I finally got around to changing the hoses and clamps out on mine. Had a problem with some leakage so I got some 1/2" 4000 psi hydraulic hoses and some 3/4" to 1/2" fittings off of Amazon. Fit great and I am actually seeing a little more PSI on the oil gauge.
I was experiencing the same thing, Gaurdian would not unlock/lock my truck to save my life. Had the dealer either update the system or whatever they did and hadn't had a problem since then.
Here is the link to the toggle bolts I used. 265 lb weight limit in 1/2" sheetrock. I have used my rails a pretty good bit and have tightened down hard on a few things with no problems...
I bought some frames off of Amazon and they included the fasteners. Not too concerned about someone stealing my plates to be honest. Just used what they supplied.
Some frames come with tamper proof screws that require a special tool to install or remove. I have them on my truck. Typically a torx screw with a pin in the middle, tool has a hole in the center for the pin to slide into and the rest is a typical torx screw.
The one that I installed is in the same place as CajunHeat, I have the air dam and there is no problem mounting it there.
By the way shout out to CajunHeat, South Louisiana in the house!
Good looking kit there!! Should make it easier to change the oil for sure. I changed mine up a bit and put it at a slight angle. I found that having it straight up and down like that would cover the filter in oil. My Ford had it at an angle and once you let it drain out, the filter was fairly...
