I'm thinking that they noticed something wrong with the sunroof during inspection and had to wait for a backordered part. It would explain why it's taking so long and why it's now in JS.
It's a miracle after 30 days in JB status I received this in an email: “I presently show your 2021 Ram 1500 factory order has now progressed to the early stages of shipping and has begun transportation to your selling dealership."

This makes me think they damaged something. Maybe the Sunroof broke while sitting outside or a kid the a rock at it so they have to replace it. I think my dealer is full of it because I would think the sunroof would be installed at the factory not the upfitter.
That's what they say I guess we'll find out. I escalated it with Ram Chat and someone contacted me one time about 10 days ago. My dealer is adamant that it's the sunroof but others have one too and move out of JB in days.
You're salesman can give you the code. There's a thread on here the lists them and their description. It almost always is vertabum what ram chat will tell you.
Yeah, you can't get a bench seat with the night or sport packages on a 1500. I'm having the dealer remove all the chrome prior to delivery because of this.
I dunno; seemed weird to me. Maybe it's the running boards then? I guess it doesn't really matter and it's only been 9 weeks so maybe I should stop being so impatient.
