There are OTA updates on the current system as well but yes since it’s android based and not proprietary like the old system updates should be easier and faster to push out. Having to drop your vehicle off for days to get a software update done is a dealership issue, my dealer always performs...

That's probably because they are due to be replaced. Challenger and Charger should be moving to an Alfa platform in MY23 or MY24 and the 300 isn't long for this world(could change with new management at Chrysler).

So I just saw that the 22 1500 classic is going to come with the 8.4 Uconnect 5. That bodes well for the 19-21 trucks being able to upgrade I would think. Wish someone would get their hands on a 22 so that we could find out.

They actually do....the problem is most sales people skip through the training material provided my the manufacturer. That and most don't bother to actually get in different vehicles on the lot and learn their features.
