In the same boat. I just did the Bilstein level and now looking at tires. I drive about 50 miles a day on hwy.
I had the Falkens on my Jeep GC and loved them. At the end they got loud, but I wasn't real good about rotating and I've heard regularly rotating them helps avoid the noise as they wear.
just picked it up after having the Bilsteins installed.....now for some real tires. Still going nuts trying to figure out the best bang for the buck on those...
I've been going through this same search. I'm going to be putting on the bilsteins for the 2" increase.
I've been looking at pricing and sizes until my eyes are crossed....At this point, it looks like a 275 65 20 will give me a nice increase in sidewall and height and seems to have the smallest...
Seems to me you might have less negotiating room when you're ordering a specific truck. I shopped all the local dealers until I found one that had the truck I wanted on their lot.
Once its on their lot, they have more incentive to move it.
59k seems like a lot for a 2WD with a v6.....but I...
I felt like I got a decent deal on my 19 Laramie 1500. MSRP was 52,800, Invoice was 48,500...I was out the door at 42k even.
Went in with financing from my credit union, but they ended up matching it through Chrysler.
I'm also planning on going with just the bilsteins all the way around to level the truck and put 275 65 20 tires on there. Would love to see pics if anyone has this setup.
Thank you for the review. I had these on my old F150 and loved them. My Jeep had the Falken Wildpeaks which we nice, but a little more aggressive looking.
I've hit 2k miles so far and love it.
So far, linex in the bed, weathertech floor mats and rear seat cover to protect it from the dog and grandkids. Yesterday got the Tyger running boards installed.
Hopefully next week the leveling kit up front and some real tires.
I had the Falkens on my jeep and loved them in all conditions....they did get a bit loud as they got more miles on them....looking at the Cooper discover AT3 right now mainly due to lower cost
