Start a Lemon Law claim against them - in Indiana you have some decent LL rights:

Might be but I'm sure insurance co. and/or dealer will not authorize anything other than what came with the truck esp. if it requires alteration to have installed. Ins. co. will only cover cost of what was originally spec'd for your specific truck.
Yes...but that's a perfect example of how stats can lie or at least give a false impression - There are many more of the vehicles on that list present in the US so the overall numbers for the thefts of them are always going to be higher than the exotics or luxury vehicles.
IMO, if you're in a 4 season or northern area state then the clamp is the way to go. Where are you located? I'm in NJ and would only need the clamp really from mid June thru August or so ...maybe 3 months. I didn't do the clamp yet since my A/C works well in hot temps...not great, but well. On...
I'm not doubting they have the technology to do this but let's be real....while our trucks are nice they are mostly not the type of vehicles these hi tech thiefs would be going after or putting themselves in a risky situation to steal. Mercedes, Teslas, Porsches, BMWs, etc. owners are much more...
Here's the answer(s) right from FCA/Chrysler leasing :
https://chryslercapital.com/lease-end-options/mileage-and-wear
Under "WEAR" it states:
Excess Wear - the degree of wear caused outside the realm of normal or ordinary wear. Occurrences including:
Abuse, neglect or poor maintenance...
Yep...I love how all the "just return it to stock" posters leave out such important info and make it sound super simple. Also, a weld joint on stainless steel pipe is a bit tricky (hard to get a good bead & prone to some leaking issues if not done really well). It would be obvious that it was...
Read your lease agreement down to the fine print. But I highly doubt they will be ok with the OEM exhaust being cut out and any aftermarket system installed on a leased vehicle - you don't own it, they do (or their bank/financier does). It also will change the noise/DB ratings of the stated...
Nah....since I'm mostly retired it's mostly all pleasure driving with some vacation trips - I drive it as much as I want or need to. Plus, after 5+ years I'll be able to sell the truck if I want for a high amount. EVERYONE wants a vehicle with low mileage if they're buying used.
To each his own but to me, driving in a truck with traffic, road noise, distractions, etc. is entirely different than sitting in a dimmed room in your house attentively listening to music. Which is why IMO, considering the convenience, a flash drive/Sirius in a veh. is more than suitable for...
There's quite a bit of content now & they're adding more everyday but you're right that some of the stuff isn't really in demand. A regularly updated list is here (movie list is about halfway down page):

Yeah....best you can get with streaming at this point is 5.1 surround. I haven't made the jump to an overhead center/dipole yet (room setup works against it) but use a 7.3 system (three 12" powered subs). The bass is excellent with the streaming audio but the lack of the signal for the other 2...
Like you...I preferred Blu Rays for movies due to their much better image quality*......I have a projector/100" screen where the quality difference is very noticeable. But, it being visual it's much easier to tell with the video format...you can see the graininess/pixels/compression etc. I was...
Like it or not, technology marches on. FCA or any automaker is not going to put an older, going extinct option that only a fraction of people use into their mass produced vehicles & ever so slightly increasing build costs just to please that certain minority. I'm actually surprised it's still...
Sh*tty dealer...guess I lucked out. It seems like some of these idiots are taking it as a challenge to their authority and have the "we know better than you" syndrome. I can't understand why they would think someone is making this up.
Don't know if it would help but I'd complain to the GM of...
Those are the ones I was looking at and will get if I take the plunge. One question is longevity...the last set (not Ionic) I had on my old truck was touted as being "polished stainless" but started to rust around the step pads and welds after a few years. And all the brackets & hardware were...
Ok... but the post of yours I was referring to did not have a lot of details in it and only seemed like someone having a hissy fit without going through attempts to have the problem addressed. If you had posted what you had just posted here there would have been more info to go by (which is why...
Yep....the reason I didn't say that it was the exact date (that is, why I said late Oct/early Nov) is for some the date code on the sticker didn't match up with the door plate. For example, my door plate says "4/19" (April 2019) but the Monroney sticker had listed next to the L4-VON "3/30"...
Thanks......sticker shows a approx. late Oct/ early Nov 18 build date timeframe but falls outside the TSB for the A/C (which was for builds prior to 9/20/18), so that's not an issue apparently with this one.
