Funny...I have a 19 Big Horn with chrome and it get's me home
Well, if you read what I was referring to it was about the poster who I was responding about it being a legitimate question and someone calling him out about that....it IS a legitimate question (as to why he didn't just buy a...
Exactly....why buy a truck with a lot of chrome only to go through the trouble and spend hundreds if not a few thousand "blacking it out"? It would be much cheaper and less of an azz ache to just pay a bit more up front and get the factory package. Plus, it would probably help with resale being...
Good point...from what I see it is very tight and you wouldn't be able to get it out without trouble....there's also this (which comes in an extended version for trucks) which might work :
Gets decent reviews on Amazon:

Forget the bags & jugs....we're living in the modern age and there are solutions to almost any problem (well...except understanding women..lol):
I also saw something like this at Walmart - a cheaper knockoff made of all plastic/rubber with a drain tube but still seemed ok for a once or twice...
The "conspiracy" answer to that is they purposely have chosen to make it harder for the DIY'er to do his own oil changes in the hopes that it will result in many choosing to say "screw it" and bring the truck in for service. Then, they can not only fleece you on the price of the oil change but...
Yeah..you did it right. T Connectors are a cheap, fast way to make connections but over time they fail, esp. where there might be a lot of movement in the wiring. And if they don't fail they can cause intermittent on/off issues. Soldering is always the best way to do it (and then use shrink...
I wonder if this whole throttle response/lag thing is a problem only on certain trucks/trims?? Reason I say this is I'm quite satisfied with the response/pick up on my '19 Ram (5.7). I don't notice any real lag or lack in the throttle response of my truck. And before anyone thinks I may just...
Yep...and as has been said before - if you bought a 1/4 ton or larger pickup truck with a V8 and are worried about the gas mileage...you bought the wrong kind of vehicle.
Yep...not to pat myself on the back but when I went to buy my new Ram, once they realized I did my research and knew my sh*t about pricing, financing, "extras", etc. they backed off and just wanted to get the deal done asap - the BS went out the window and we worked the numbers & got a deal...
The tire pressure is variable in several different ways and will change not only with outdoor temps but it can vary with just the sun shining on one side of the vehicle. I have proven this to myself by checking the cold pressures with on side of the truck facing the sun and the other in shade...
I already gave you my take, re: the tire pressures.....Anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of vehicles/technology knows that altering tire pressure will affect the handling & ride quality. Too low a pressure then you will feel loose, spongy ride/handling while too high you will be bouncing...
You mean the same all knowing manufacturer who f'd up and couldn't design a properly functioning a/c system or an air suspension option without problems??? LOL
Not to be argumentative but you're coming off like a bit of a d*ck in your allegiance to "the man" - And, I believe the door plate...
As has been said before, when it comes to the a/c what "works" is very subjective depending on the individual person. Of the majority here, the a/c is functioning ("working") but not satisfactorily cooling, esp. in very hot temps. Glad it seems to be ok for you but that doesn't mean others...
Quick check of the calendar shows that was a Monday...and if by second shift you mean the morning/daytime shift then that would perpetuate the well worn legend about issues with vehicles built on a Monday morning. Maybe they were all hungover from the weekend.
Anyway, to each is own but, why...
Agreed..."satisfactorily" is very subjective dependent upon the individual person. Those who like it super cold (and whose past vehs had colder a/c) will be more affected and notice it than others. It's similar to like when it's in the 50's by me and I see people walking around in jackets and...
