It was an option when I got the Mopar extended warranty thru Ziegler. It is offered thru Mopar but they use a third party company (I think it's called Dent Zone) and it was $420 for 5 years (from new). That was before using the PAYINFULL promo which dropped the whole cost down nicely. The...
I have 2019 RAM 1500 Bighorn with just over 18000 miles I leased and will be buying it out. It's be problem free (knock wood) and there's no way I'm selling it...not when it costs a fortune for a new one plus the order backup/delays (and the dealers knowing they have the upper hand). I know...
They sell external type CD players for USB for $50 - $100 (Amazon, etc) which come with operation buttons (Play, Stop, RW/FF). They would not only seem to be a clutter issue in the console area but you'd have to secure it some way so it wasn't bouncing/sliding all over the place....all in all...
Late reply but placing them higher would be better for door ding protection. I checked by parking cars of family members (from a smaller sedan to a SUV) next to my truck and opening the doors to see....in every case the higher placement would "catch" more of the door edges opening into the doors...
Know this is late but look at my post in this thread above:

F*cking joke bro...not only that d bag Murphy but the whole situation. So...grocery stores, Walmart's, etc have been open all along where people are passing one another in aisles all day long or standing next to each other gazing at the stuff on the shelves yet restaurants (where most people...
Fill up tank, and then disconnect neg. battery cable for 10 minutes & reconnect. Said many times before....our trucks are basically PCs on wheels and the neg battery thing is like Ctrl Alt Delete on a PC.
Actually my truck is ok under normal circumstances but with the clamp it's perfect (esp. when temps hit 90 or higher). Doesn't change the fact that other vehicles using the same REFRIGERANT (yes "R "1234yf is one and has an R in front of it...see below) are blowing ice cold or much colder than...
No offense but you're wrong...1234yf IS a refrigerant and is being used in a majority of all newly manufactured vehicles from nearly all the manufacturers. And as was posted above, some have experience in other vehs. using it and it is blowing cold with no issues. This is a RAM screw up of huge...
It's been said numerous times in this thread and it's a fact that "feel" temps are very subjective and relative to each person. There's no way of even knowing whether the suggested "proper vent temp" of 55 degrees (which RAM laughingly lists as the approved spec at like 85 degree ambient temps)...
LOL...not very versed in the legal system and underhanded lawyers, huh? Not saying his daughter or he is the type but there are plenty of people around today who might sue over the "emotional trauma" or Ptsd -type claim that such a situation is claimed to have caused - especially when the...
Good for you/her...glad it was worked out! One question though if you are willing to answer it as I'm curious - did they ask her to sign off that she wouldn't be suing or filing any other type of claim on the first truck? I can't see them not asking for that in trade for a new truck.
Yes...most probably...and even more probably they wanted to be paid immediately instead of having to file a voucher with Ram and wait to get compensated for the tow bill. If they in fact did this and were holding it like it was for ransom trying to get paid up front then they are real scumbags...
The only sure answer if you do this mod with the valve install is you have to hope they don't notice it and if they do, they don't give you a hard time or deny service. Don't know where you live but if you are at all concerned with this angle then use the line clamp method - It's mentioned and...
That might work if it is a unrelated problem you're in the shop to get fixed but, rest assured, if there is an issue that involves the line being messed with they will surely question it, document it and most probably deny warranty coverage because of it....your protestations notwithstanding, LOL.
Wait....was there actually a message that you didn't see/check or is the dealership BS-ing?? If they did and you missed it then it's on you but if they lied and there's no record of it I'd be raising hell about having to take time off (and, apparently have to do it again when the next radio...
I get that the supposed reason is what it's for but many here are using it as a full time workaround fix and I have not heard of any hose burst failures as of yet because of the clamp. My way of doing it is to periodically loosen the clamp maybe once a month and move it an inch or so along the...
