Interesting to hear from someone that likes the grill and the truck, less problems. I just can't get used to it but obviously a lot of folks like it. Just seems so massive - have only seen them on the road, read some road tests and built one on the website. When they come up behind me they look...
Thanks for running these statistics. Several things I don't understand. When you say 17 Limiteds does that mean they only programmed 17 off of one of the production lines. It seems they would run an entire batch at one time. Also wonder if those include the A equipment group since my dealer said...
Used them for years including when I lived in CO mountains; great on snowpack, quiet and long lasting. Used on Grand Cherokee and RAM 1500. They test near or at the top on TireRack for similar tires.
The way all this is going In 3 years from purchase your RAM truck will require a subscription to keep the heat, AC, power windows and power seats to continue running. I'm a driver I don't want no f***ing hands free. We are slowly being squeezed into submission of accepting fewer choices.
Sourcing would explain a lot. A myriad of issues so hope they get if figured out. Hope there isn't a mad rush for assembly and then quality issues but I have faith in the final product we've all waited so long for.
Not sure which thread to post this but got some new word from my dealer. He is the manager and called his Rep. The rep did some checking and here we go. The reason Limiteds not shipping according to the rep and someone even higher than him is that there is supply chain issue with the hands free...
A good question I can't answer. I think when trucks come off the line for accessories they divert to the custom shop so if accessories are available I wouldn't think they'd take much longer. Maybe if fully loaded. Availability may the bigger issue.
Just got a call from a dealer I stopped at in my area yesterday and he said he could order a Limited Longhorn with A group, bed group, brake controller and have it in 8-10 weeks. I said how do you know that and he said his manager who has been there 43 years told him that. Later this week I will...
I drove by some dealerships that are farther away from my location. Looked at Tundra Limited and spoke to a RAM dealer. Didn't drive the iMax Tundra but ok inside, at least the front end isn't quite as massive as the GMC Denali but not much storage inside second row to make up for lack of ram...
I'm willing to wait if there were some communications from RAM as to availability, build and shipping dates but without that I'm looking at other truck options. Will wait another week to talk to my dealer and if no info may jump ship, but where? Denali but hate that front end, Lexus GX 550 but...
