Have read about that as well as continuing 10 speed transmission issues, law suits at least up through 2023 yr. Was looking there but came back to waiting on RAM Limited trims.
Ok with me if it's over engineered. Been living with no dipstick in two other vehicles for 10 years. Non issue. Used to use a flip phone too but saw advantages to the new one. Can't fault liking the old stuff but I enjoy the new technology.
Hopefully the Bighorn issues is a fluke. Variability in a manufacturing process is not a good sign of quality control. Each vehicle produced should be as identical as the last and not fluctuate to a significant degree. Maybe a sign the engineering staff has been reduced who oversee these...
I agree PetePA and that is the dilemma for me. Really doesn't matter though if they can't bring the new models to market. Still no word on that and now into their 2 week shutdown. I would love to have a line worker or supervisor chime in and say something positive about why we are all waiting...
Agree! That ridiculous passenger screen that is standard on the Limited and not optional actually has me looking at other vehicles. As you say with everyone having a phone what 3rd rate marketing person came up with that idea. You lose the space of the double glove box we had on previous models...
Humm, not sure what to think. The Level A group has about everything including heads up, etc. No mention of any Level 1 on the Limited/LL. The Level A is the one thing my dealer said was restricted on his order page and that is of course the things I want which maybe is the A79. Thanks for that...
I assume you are speaking of Level A for the Limited? The Laramie has Level 1, 2, and technology. For the Limited it would have to say Level A technology group. At least that's how the build page has it.
Regarding the Limiteds are they coming out with Group A? I don't understand the trickle of Limiteds but no custom orders are showing any VINs or shipping codes. Are they being produced and then stored on a lot? That has always been the stumbling block I guess and reason that dealers who have a...
I guess there's nothing to do now for another two weeks as I would think there won't be much movement on orders or when Limited production may begin. If there isn't some positive word by first of June I'm going to be very unhappy. Might even consider keeping my 2015 with 98K but was hoping I...
Consumer Reports said don't buy the 2023 F150. Ride, handling reliability under par. One can't win I guess but tons on the road - someone must like them or they aren't very discriminating buyers.
I can uderstand some delays and I agree most of us can do without some of the features you mention. What bothers a lot of us is the inability of RAM to communicate with their dealers and give some guidance on deliveries. Surely they have some idea whether it be June, July, August or next year...
The Limited and Tungsten have the Bi-function LED projector headlights. Below that they have LED reflectors. One poster somewhere stated that the LED Projectors alone was worth the price of going with the Limited as they were that much better picking out wildlife on the roads he drove. It is not...
I'm keeping my faith for the 2025 RAM until I see otherwise. If they don't come out with the upper trims after the shutdown then it's going to be a different truck. Can only wait so long for something they promoted months ago. I think prices on the dealer side will continue to be quite competitive.
