My first thought on seeing the stock and aftermarket in the same shot.
As for the electric cutouts, look into Atlanta Speedometer electric cutout project. it is pretty damned sexy. Throttle based cutout actuation so while you are slow rolling it's stock, and cutout on wider throttle. theres...
My "plan" is to use composite video out from pi to display on cargo cam. If i find the right codes, i can do video in motion via the can bus.
Ill be able to pass audio through via bluetooth from phone to pi, pi bluetooth to head unit, no rca cable audio howling.
Once i work through canbus...
this vid shows how to access the STAR connection behind the headlamp selector switch. This will give direct access to CAN, bypassing the SGW and enabling fun stuff to happen without running afoul of casual inspection by FCA doing their work and connecting to the OBD2 port.
not my video.
that's great and all, but where do those RCA cables connect? The Naviks unlocks the video in motion, the appleTV catches the video, the phone sources the content, but where does the video from the composite out get to the head unit? I'm trying to get the pinout for the cargo cam input so I can...
I believe there is a set of options for changing the DRL "dropout" and functioning DRL output in alfaobd.
this *may* help.

Heres a gamble. Lets pool together and get the navics harness for lockout. Ill test to see reliably which pins deliver chmsl video (i have a fairly good idea from some zauto docs). Once i know for sure, ill pack it up and ship it to one of the contributors, chance based on relative contribution...
oh man, I'm sorry. I was so busy you know, living my life to look up all the information on what you want to spoon feed it to you.

one of the easiest one of these is simply the anti-static foil bags that PC hard drives come in. it completely envelops the fob and will severely attenuate the signal (pull it down)...
I just did a family road trip all day yesterday in mine. This used to leave me wrecked the next day from sitting in an uncomfortable seat all day.
In my truck yesterday, smooth ride all the way. doday I am up and at it, thanking the heated 9 million way adjustable seat memory and heated...
you have no idea just how easy it is to steal a fob enabled ignition car. all it takes is two directional antenna, two software defined radios , and a rough idea of where your key is from the street.
remember, I don't need to keep starting your truck to steal it, just the one time to get it...
I.... don't get it.
Do you plug in the 8+12 connector end to the spot where the zauto bypass would go and your obd2 reader to the other end? by using this are you effectively disconnecting the in-built obd port?
Also, Check out the Alfaobd thread. Theres a lot of super cool stuff you can pull off the truck's telemetry and push to enable features you add after sale like....
well you have a limited. you have all the features.
the roads in my town are "chunky".
I'm in a non air ride laramie 19 and part of the reason I bought it was the ride was so much softer than my last car. on bumps it feels dicey, like the transition from road to driveway too fast.
