18s and 20s have basically the same ride quality, I have never been able to tell the difference.
The noticeable difference will be if you move up to a load range E tire.
1 year and 9 months, 61k miles, the truck is really nice but the engine is on its 2nd oil leak, I'm taking it to the dealer next week.
maintenance is definitely more expensive than gas, fuel filter is $40, oil filter is like $45, and the oil is about $72 online + DEF costs but that about 1...
had the same leak on mine, I'm now at 61k miles and have a 2nd engine oil leak, looks like its coming from the same area, dealer is pretty slammed right now so I setup an appointment to drop it off next week
holy crap 275...., you might have burnt your engine oil, but definitely start with going full synthetic.
3500lb trailer and 82 outside temp isn't that crazy... might be something else going on...
I know gas motors aren't the best for towing up hills but it still shouldn't be this bad.
I feel you, ive already had to bring my truck in a few times to get things fixed, leaking motor, leaking axle seal, dash popping up...
Only one that took a while was the engine leak, they had it for about 2 weeks, after a day I convinced the service advisor to give me a loaner Jeep by giving him...
Do you have a 2019 without the update? I think it sounds great, definitely not boomy, I actually added a JL audio sub to add more bass. I did blow a dash speaker but that was from always listening to music at 3/4-full volume, so I cant really blame that on the speaker.
edit: also what are you...
I've lost some before and the dealer has given me free ones when I go in to do oil changes. So maybe ask your dealer?
Highly recommend replacing the stock lug nuts though. They are a chrome cap pressed over a lug nut, over time the cap can spin independently of the lug nut, One of the down...
If the truck is reliable I'll get another ecodiesel, but so far its iffy, motor has already leaked and the rear axle seal has leaked, both covered under warranty. Now I just did my 50k oil change and it looks like the transfer case is leaking a bit, no drip yet but dust/oil is collecting on the...
This was my first time doing anything with audio as well.
It’s honestly pretty easy
1. Run a power wire to the battery to where you are putting the amp
2. Tap into the existing speaker wire to use as a signal, I literally used “T” taps that I got off Amazon
3. Make a box to size or modify an...
I have the spotify family plan (6 people) for $16/month and its great. Plus i get to download music/podcasts to my phone for when ever I dont have service, mostly for during flying. Sound quality is great as well.
the 2 speakers in the rear headliner are easy to replace, just pop out the plastic with a flat tool, you're going to have to pry pretty hard, unscrew the old speaker and pop in a new one. takes all of 10 minutes for both sides.
When I did it, I just cut off the old wires and crimped on blade...
Ya it fits fine on my 2020 with regular suspension, and I don't think anything changed for 2021. I'm guessing who ever puts together their website didn't get the correct info.
there's a world wide semiconductor shortage right now. AMD, Intel, Micron and Qualcomm are trying to get subsidies to build new factories in the USA or else they are going to build them in another country. TSMC is already planning on building another plant in Arizona.
I was in the same boat as you. Ended up getting a JL audio 12" microsub+ which is an all in one sub/amp combo. I just spliced into the existing sub for a signal. I cut the box down and it fit behind the rear seat. Very happy with how it turned out. they also have a 10" & 8" model if the 12 is...
mpg will definitely drop, how much depends on how you drive. If you drive like a grandpa, you'll prolly see a 1mpg drop, if you have a lead foot you'll probably see a 3mpg drop.
You wont even notice a difference in towing.
As much as I love my Ram, and I would buy it again, Its not going to beat the reliability and cheap maintenance of a toyota.
I have a 2020 longhorn ecodiesel, 14 months 39k miles and its been to the dealer 4 times for a total of about 3 weeks. Engine valve cover oil leak, rear axle seal oil...
