Did you have your rear slider open? Might will get real dark when I am driving to work in the dark and I have my rear slider open for some fresh air and headlights are able to hit the sensor without having to go through the tinted rear window. It will also get like this when I start my truck...
Summit Racing says that the estimated ship date for the 5100's ordered from them is 1/31, so perhaps that is when they will start shipping from everybody?
If you run the ORG front coils, you should only use setting 5 as the highest setting on the 5100's per their installation instructions. Even with running the ORG rear springs this should still level you.
My wife's car was repaired a couple years ago after she was in an accident at Superior Auto Body in Pinellas Park if you're on the Pinellas side of the bay. They did a great job with it.
#1 would be stock on both types of trucks, and stock on the ORG trucks is 1" taller than non-ORG trucks via taller springs. Moving the spring seat to #5 on an ORG truck should lift it 2" above stock for an ORG truck, not 2" above a non-ORG truck.
No, using setting 5 should be 2" over stock (i.e., over a stock Rebel). The Bilsteins on the Rebel are not ride height adjustable - the lift is achieved with taller springs. Swapping to the 5100's raises the spring seat, so using setting 5 on a Rebel/ORG/north edition truck would theoretically...
My understanding is that using setting 5 on the Bilstein's will raise you 2" above stock, which is already 1" above the non-ORG/north edition/Rebel trucks (essentially you'd be 3" taller in the front than a regular 4WD Ram that isn't equipped with the off-road group).
I'm going to be buying...
They are painted with tinted clearcoat... however dark you want it will dictate the number of coats needed. Nice thing about using the tinted clearcoat is that light still shines through really well.
I am leaving the headlights stock. I might try and pick up a set of the Rebel headlights for the blacked out bezels if I could find a buyer for my current standard Laramie ones.
Finally got my tails and cargo light tinted. Came out better than I was expecting. Also done over the last couple months but not really picture worthy: installed the Hellwig rear sway bar, figured out a spot for my Scangauge II (cubby above the radio), switched from aFe intake to the Volant...
Found them on a Canadian Bilstein distributor’s site for $165 CAD each (which is about $125 in freedom dollars). Can’t tell if they are actually in stock or not, but hopefully they will start showing up on US retailer websites soon...
With the tires cold my TPMS is dead on both of my gauges (one digital and one not digital). Obviously when driving and the tires heat up, the TPMS will read a few pounds higher.
Everything on that website is listed as fitting the 09-19 Ram, so my guess is that it is all meant for the 19 "classic" which is still a 4th gen truck. The part numbers for the Fox products on Camburg agree with part numbers for products that fit the 2019 classic on Fox's website. I'd still be...
