Ran power from the fusebox in the drivers foot well to the rear seats, along the door sills … there is a large bundle running there already that I followed….fuse spot was actually was marked rear seat heat(or something similar)I think there was even a left/right…. i did pull power from the...
I ended up just installing some after market seat heaters in the rear seats like $60-70 a piece … put the switches for them in the center console , beside the rear USB ports… looks factory… only thing it does not do is the switches do not light up at night… Installation was a “process” but took...
I just took mine to the dealer for a cracked left and right exhaust manifold.. I had them check the latest software availability for a 21 with a 8.4, non Nav UC4,.. apparently the software that the truck was delivered with in 10-2020 is still the latest version for that.
I will see what the...
Idle control is 100% computer controlled, there has not been a ”upping your idle a bit” in 20 years……there is very little to nothing to “adjust” on a modern engine
Thanks for that picture.. was worried that the normal reverse picture would get so small that it be hard to see… but it looks like it be doable….. time to start gathering parts….
Agreed with the no spacers etc…. Was looking at Icon and similar systems, not as much worried about that kind of money, but that kind of system seems to be more for off road applications, logically so…. I am trying to make this thing ride like a Cadillac with a 2 inch lift …. Switch to 18 inch...
without trying to hijack someone else’s tread, but there seems to be a lot of good information on here….but what would the recommendation be for a 2 inch lift kit that would not deteriorate/maybe even make better the factory ride ? 99% road/highway…
^^^^^^^I did see that in my search, and figured it was a misprint/don’t want to sell it / whatever price…. No one in their right mind, unless you are in aviation, would pay that …
Waiting to hear back from member St-na … will take you up on your offer if needed …. Plan is NOT to make any money with this, just cover expenses, for the good of car lovers/tinkerers/people everywhere….with the new trucks coming out, and used mirrors becoming more plentiful, and disassembly of...
Going to do some looking around here and see if I can find a pair in a salvage yard….with camera’s, that might be the most reasonable way to go about it… new camera’s are $200+.. will follow up
Did not know if they were “mirror “ 😬image of each other , due to angles of the mirror etc…. I will see if I can get a hold of a bracket and proceed from there…..
Well, BB, thank you so much for taking the time to take some pictures, and clear this all up for us. without the brackets being available from Mopar, we are going to be stuck getting new mirrors, or finding some good used ones, or finding some bad used ones and swapping the parts over… bummer…I...
I have been scrounging the interwebs, and so far have only been able to find the brackets for the front and rear camera’s .. not much luck for those mirror camera brackets… will keep digging….. it has to have a number……
And not to be a d—k, but your post says” camera just screws in with a screw” while a picture of the back of the mirror shows clearly a bracket that holds the camera, and that bracket is screwed in,camera clips into said bracket.. picture of the part number /camera does not show said bracket…...
I am missing somehow the part number for the bracket that hold in the camera in the mirror? For some reason I do not see that mentioned anywhere… planning on drilling out my existing mirrors.
