Just a point of contention...that isn't dealer cost. Invoice has been slowly inflated since 1995 because many savvy shoppers were on to the invoice minus holdback so I cringe when I see people think that's that invoice minus holdback is dealer cost..it's not..not even close. Sounds like you...
Ram has made the 6'4" Box with Rambox before in the 4th Gens as I ordered it that way for my 2014 Longhorn. Apparently, when the HDs re-design, they will bring back the 6'4" box with ramboxes but so far that may not be until the 2022 models but it's still possible for 2021s so we'll see soon...
Those programs are NOT for people who want to get the best deal, they're for people just looking for an "easy no haggle" purchase. What these guys said is right, you will get NO dealer discount only rebates on top of the "program" price be it, corp discount, COSTCO, USAA Car Buying Service...
Couple comments:
1) You can refinance the minute you get your loan number from Chrysler Capital. You DO NOT have to wait regardless of what the dealer tells you. They just want their kickback from jacking up your rate and they don’t get it if you refi before 60 days but it won’t affect you.

Yeah if you're going to tow at all, the changes for the 2021 will definitely come in useful especially the new Trailer Tow Group. I've never towed but HEMI with 3.92s is rated to tow more than the ED so it really depends on how much weight your TT will be. There's a guy on here that tows a...
Several on here were told they couldn't order 2020s when they tried and one guy who ordered a 2020 found out the next day it didn't go through and he'd have to order a 2021. After seeing what changes were being made for the 2021 and seeing them confirmed, I'm planning to order a 2021.
Here's an interesting link that shows what FCA communicated to Hertz for ordering purposes. You'll note they showed the initial 2021 ordering window opening on 8 Jul and do show production starting 31 August.

Not sure what motortrend rebate you're referring to but if it's a TDM, you'll need to get the code and verify with the Chrysler Incentive Center as typically, you can't stack more than one TDM but they'll tell you what rebates can and can't be combined.
Not sure what you're asking but if you're asking how the warranty works, you pay your deductible ($0, $100 or $200 depending on which plan you chose) and the repair is covered.
You can definitely add the TBC after and you can search the forum for those that have done it. You’ll find most people love the 12” screen. I know when I order my 21 I will be getting it.
If you aren’t comfortable, walk. It’s your money. My suggestion would just be to never give a deposit on a “lot” truck (only on orders obviously). You seemed to state there are some things missing from the truck that a Laramie would have. It’s a big purchase so make sure you’re happy.
That invoice is NOT what the dealer pays. There are lots of info if you search that show since 1995, the dealers and sites like Edmunds, True Car, etc. got together and slowly started increasing “invoice” since many savy shoppers were using the “invoice minus holdback” deal on a car. The dealer...
Just look at a few examples I posted two posts ago that are actual trucks for sale and you can see dealer discounts. Only you can decide what you're good with at the end of the day but people here will help you out where we can.
Here's a few examples here in TX right now just to give you an idea.

$7,042 dealer discount on a MSRP of $55,650 BEFORE rebates (12.65% off BEFORE rebates)...
I'm saying the typical 8-10% is dealer discount BEFORE any rebates. In your case the price of your truck is $51,815 vs the MSRP of $55,555 BEFORE rebates, trade, etc. 51815/55555 = 6.73% off sticker. It does appear "User Fee" is sales tax but I've just never seen it listed that way before. I...
