They won't because it changes the equipment. I'm not going to say no dealer ever has, but I have never seen it personally and it's definitely not common. What you could do that is possible and does happen, is ask the dealer's Parts Manager to buy back your "take-offs" meaning the 22" Wheels...
Exactly. If it were a $30K truck that interior is fine but on a $60-$70K (Denali) truck, it's so woefully short of luxury that I'm honestly surprised the entire interior design team wasn't re-assigned. They could absolutely incorporate the 2021 Escalade without jacking up the price more...
Well you paid a $4999 premium over the standard V-6 so you definitely didn’t settle lol. Unfortunately the MPG benefit of the ED is negated by the premium you pay for the ED so you’re paying for it every month with interest or you paid all up front cash but the ED makes no financial sense as the...
I disagree. In TX limiteds have $1500 in rebates at the end of a MY which is horrible. 2021s will have something because Ram wants to get sales with volume from everything they’ve lost over the three months they were shut down and with unemployment so high. 2020s are a year old the second you...
They are both meh. Going to a 10” screen from their 8” but most of the interior is the same. Same plastics, dull steering wheel, dull instrument cluster and poor use of wood. If GM wanted to really compete, they’d been better off using the 2021 Cadillac Escalade interior.
Check out Bluebonnet Ram in New Braunfels, TX. They have two black appearance Rebels more loaded than what you test drove (have MFTs and Ramboxes, etc.) and dealer discount is over $5k without even trying to negotiate plus rebates.
Agree I haven’t seen anywhere close to 20% off a Limited or...
I'll try not to repeat some of the information you were given but since I cross-shopped both I'll give you my perspective. I haven't bought yet but I have ruled out the Sierra.
1) Sierra interior is just so far behind the competition that I couldn't bring myself to spend in the $60s for a 1990...
My advice...wait. Here's why.
1) The 2020s are already one year old so you take an even bigger depreciation hit right away than you normally would because typically this time of year, you'd have very nice incentives.
2) Incentives are a joke so throw conventional wisdom out the door because...
Haha yeah you like ‘em loaded like me. And yes you can spec a Laramie over $70k which is nuts. The trailer tow mirrors are silly. The fact that they still don’t have power fold tow mirrors and where you can still get surround view is silly. GM and Ford have power fold mirrors. I got the tow...
I live in Texas too and I ordered a 2014 Longhorn so I'm very familiar with it :) I never even considered the Limiteds back then because it meant only one choice of interior (all black which I don't like). That said, I was happy to see the Limited offered a second interior option and I love the...
They will almost always ask for a deposit to hold it but they still aren't required by any law to hold the truck. I've seen instances in the past when a dealership has sold a vehicle someone had a deposit on because someone else was paying more. In that event, the "non-refundable" deposit...
