You should've gave the hellwig a shot! I bet it would still be on your truck! To each their own though, you can still do some interesting things with that mod money.
Might be tough to get PPF to stick to that given its texture. Id be interested to see if you find something that works. I try and be careful with my feet hitting those things and no matter what I end up with dirt and scratches all over them.
I consistently average 17-18mpg. Truck is still stock so itll drop to 16-17 probably once I level it and add tires. All in all still decent mileage. Especially coming from a durango that got 12mpg no matter what.
Can't agree that the hellwig is frivolous as it actually is a useful addition to these trucks. However, if this isn't a performance race car you might have to remove that K&N drop in filter. ;)
I would just expect them to deny any warranty claims for the shocks or any parts damaged due to the shocks. If you have the stock UCA's and off road package with a 2" level and your ball joint fails they are not going to warranty that. But things up to 2" really don't create that much damage so...
That looks great. Also, you would definitely have room to run a 285/65/20. I had 33x11.5x20's on my last truck with stock off road package and they fit without issues. Thanks for sharing.
Gotcha! Well I hope that solves the problem for you and you can get back on the road. I can't decide if I really want to take mine in for this or not. I may just mention it next time I bring it in for something else and see if they would even look into it. Have you looked into having your truck...
Finally received my 3rd party warranty refund... thankfully I got 95% of my purchase price back. Seems like the prices still haven't gone up as my quote is the same now as it was a month ago.
