IDK about the falkens but when I replaced mine, the discount tire sales person said that none of the tires reach the guarenteed mileage despite whats listed. Most people dont realize this and just buy new tires not realizing they can get a credit for the amount of mileage you didnt get, thats...
Ive been watching my 2020 the last few days because its been so cold, mine slowly heats up as well. With 24° ambient temps, it takes about 8 miles for the trans to get to 140°, distance from my house to the gym
I only hand wash at home, otherwise it stays dirty until I have time.
I have a CR Spotless Dic 20 deionizer and a AR Blue 630 TSS
I've modified the CR with a bypass so I do not always have use DI water
The system is now mounted to the wall except the DI unit which I roll over and...
I walked in to the service department and simply asked. I told them that I'd read that Ram was good willing the leather Limited/Longhorn/TRX dashes. He wrote it up, entered data in the system and came up with my copay, 10 min.
They saw my attempts at repair on the old dash as well and said nothing
100%. My windshield was covered thursday morning. While everyone else was warming up and scraping, I started the truck and had the cover pulled off before the idle came down from a cold start. I hate waiting on the defroster or scraping windshields
I got one of these from walmart a few years ago, best $15 I ever spent

Not a big deal, I've learned something that I knew nothing about 36 hours ago. If it happens to anyone else, now they have a starting point and can avoid the dealer service.
It warmed up some today, 35°. so I went out and knocked the ice of the MPR lever, reconnected the battery (trans shifted to park as soon as the battery was connected) and started the truck.
Drove it around with no issues, shifted to park without hesitation. Set my camera up to watch the lever...
Nope, normal driving on wet/snow slushy roads. I could here and feel the slush hitting the bottom of the truck and it's packed in there.
I'll find out tomorrow when I reconnect the battery
From what I'm reading, it's the manual park release lever not being able to move. From what I'm reading, apparently that lever does have some interaction with the selector dial when placed in park.
Search ram 1500 flashing park/service transmission after heavy snow. I had no idea there were...
IDK, I'd have thought they would have tested in these conditions but seeing TRXs experiencing the exact same issue, maybe it slipped through testing and takes a specific set of circumstances for this to occur. There's definitely lot of slush and snow packed up under the truck.
If this turns...
Battery is only a year old but that would be an easy fix that won't bother me as its a 3 year full replacement battery warranty. I'll check that when I reconnect everything and its warmed up enough to melts the snow underneath
I thought about that too but I don't think that's it. I suspect it's got something to do with the MPR cable (Manual Park/Release) lever
That's where the cable connects to the lever on the trans
The harness is here
There's no electronics in that area other than the front and rear O2...
