My truck came with the tri-fold from Ram/Mopar (part of the Black Appearance package), but if it hadn't, I probably would have gone this route. Done these for the past several trucks, great quality.

Regardless of cover, make sure and take note if you have the...
There are lights on the underside of the mirror that can illuminate the ground upon unlock, but they can be turned off in the settings in UConnect. Not sure if the Razer DT would interfere with those settings, but I'd take a look in UConnect settings first.
Yup, the hood scoop is functional on the TRX. Not sure if they have any of that hydro-guide action like the Wrangler 392, that supposedly lets water out of the hood intake before it gets sucked in. Probably not, and you're probably right.
Yup, normal for mine as well if you hold down the brake the entire time you start it. My 2014 (Hemi) was worse, it had a clunk every time it started, regardless of brake/no brake, for the almost 40k miles that I owned it. As a result, I ignore it by default.
Welcome to the 5th gen world! Very nice truck. Glad you're OK, and you were able to upgrade out of an unfortunate situation. An accident led me to dive into the world of dash cams, glad you had the smarts to do it before hand.
Ravenol is another good fluid for our ZF 8 speeds. Lots of other makes/models that use the ZF transmissions like that fluid, and its fully synthetic. If I remember correctly, the ZF Lifeguard (and Mopar equivalent) is a semi-synthetic fluid.
Welcome aboard. All nicer trucks, SUVs, and cars are costing an arm/leg to repair anymore, hate to say. But the mid-to-higher trims do cost a little more.
For the recalls, there are a few sites you can use. Ram does actually provide one for you...
I will not pretend to be an expert, but the only difference I see in part descriptions is the first ones you listed are arms for the 2" mopar lift kit, and the ones he gave you are what his computer tells him came with your truck from the factory.
Probably immaterial to this discussion but...
I also had this "issue", but it was easily fixed. I zip tied the harness to another nearby wire bundle.
Another wiring holder also had to be removed from my step (since I removed the step prior to installing these), if memory serves.
It will be a little worse in the winter if you experience any cold temps, but generally speaking, a few ounces or so. My 2014 Ram (traded it in for this one) was the worst I've seen in a while, it was half full or a touch more after 5000-6000 miles. This 2020, and my wife's 2018 Jeep GC with the...
No experience with Grapplers or KO2s specifically, but unless you're going to be visiting some sharp rocks (off roading), or needing to air down for deep sand, I'd do XL.
XL is a "heavy duty" version of SL, and does not have the extra weight of the LT tires. Not adding weight (or at least...
Been through one South Dakota winter so far. Coldest it got was around -20, if I recall correctly, not counting wind chill. No issues so far.
Not as cold as some of the Canadian winters though, and when you order a Canadian Ram, they give you the option to delete the air suspension, even on...
Redline puts microchips in their oil, so the Feds can track your car everywhere. I use Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, the FREEDOM OIL! 🏴☠️
Seriously though, I've seen enough tests come back where PUP beats Redline. So, when its on sale, I buy PUP. Redline is a good oil, and the extra molly it has...
I'd wait until the 2022 GT trim 1500 trucks come out, as they will have paddle shifters. After a few of them end up in the scrap heap because people total them, buy the wheel/paddles from the salvage yard. Probably easier/cheaper than buying TRX wheel/paddles, as sometimes anything associated...
What @piening2150 said. Unless you plug in an aftermarket gizmo, its wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, not wireless. Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto is coming supposedly with UConnect 5 on the 2022s.
Entirely possible in some cases, but in many, its just people's priorities. There are all types; some its the house, some its quantity of things (hoarders), some its just a few things (but they're really nice), for some its making sure the church gets 50% of their money, etc. etc.
I know a...
