that would explain that then.. No ANC under seat would most likely mean no wires there either. lol
I'm no amp expert so I wouldn't be any help there. I've been out of car audio for a long time and slowly getting back into it. I have an Audio control d4-800 with built in DSP so I wouldn't need...
Walski,
While that harness looks decent and I'm sure it will work, And I'm guessing you have the base 6 speaker setup? no factory amp with factory ANC unit?
Using my method accomplishes the same thing only MUCH easier. with my harness setup as described earlier in the thread Its all done...
nope, it has nothing to do with Bluetooth that I have found.
And Nola, glad everything worked out for you. I do like that sub-box. curious if it would fit under quad cab seat also?
This is what I have so far, please forgive the child like drawings.
Also, disregard the black tape for connections, it was only for testing and will be done properly when I'm finished with harness.
All the speaker leads will come apart at the taped area and will be connected to the amp input...
Ryas, it sounds like you have it right...
The black 16 pin connector is the speaker output to cab, doors and dash (8 wires) and two wires for the active vibration.
The white 22 pin connector is coming from the radio (8 wires) and has the brown and orange wires for the mics. Plus 2 for the...
You'll have to completely bypass the ANC module for all the speaker wires input and output sides.
should go, Radio output (white connector) to LOC, Loc to amp, Amp outputs directly to Speaker outs (black connector) throughout the truck.. Black connector is the outputs to speakers. connect...
Yes, the white plug has the speaker inputs from radio. the black plug has the speaker outputs to the doors and dash. They are speaker level inputs if that helps.
the base stand alone ANC unit is not an amp and does not control any functions of the radio that I have noticed. Is it a DSP of...
ok, thanks.
I have my harness made up and temp installed for testing. I left the can bus and crank wires connected to the ANC unit and directly connected the radio/speaker inputs and outputs together (bypassing the ANC module) just to see if I still get sound... good news is stand alone ANC is...
Just received the ANC bypass harnesses. took me a while to track down connectors that will work.
PAC audio pn: APH-CH01
If anyone is curious about possibly doing a separate DSP/Amp setup without having to hack the factory wires.
Color codes aren't exact but wont be hard to wire it up. some...
Billet,
I had all kinds of trouble as you did with the ANC having the speakers wired according to the diagrams. Sounded like a Star Wars light saber fight going on inside my truck..lol
I've since un-pinned the mics to the ANC so I cant confirm whether my issues were polarity or not at this...
Hello All, I'm new here on the forums. I've been out of car audio for quit a while but am slowly getting back into it with the addition of my new Ram truck.. Loving it so far.
Mine is the 6 speaker system with 8.4 screen and standalone ANC and no amp. I just replaced all the stock speakers...
