No right mirror dimming on the Limited. Just searching for more info found a number of other FCA models that don't dim on the passenger side either.

It's known that the MDS causes vibration which is why the ATMMs exist.. As to whether or not it's 'destructive', I'm no expert.

Our emissions standards have effectively limited diesel here. I don't see those standards being lowered going forward.
