I drive alot of miles.. 65ish round trip back and forth to work at 80mph+ everyday... ReadyLift UCA'S and a 2.5in Daystar Poly tophat spacer, along with alignment... trucks level, and it tightened up a bit suspension wise.. felt sloppy to me stock- but I like more of a sport ride.. will swap out...
To answer your question... 35s x 11.5in wide highway 15 to 18mpg depends on how u drive a bit too.... around town 14ish.. had same results with last gen 2014,15,17etc.. if you don't put alot of miles on, I say dont worry about it.. I have a 65 mile a day total-commute back and forth.. I knew...
Lift vs level.. You will always have rake.. if your cool with that, and or have weight in the bed good move.
If you want to LEVEL the truck- look at simply lifting the Front...
Different strokes for different folks.. they all have their place.
I'm pretty sure the good old factory warranty for what it's worth is not void for minor lift/levels- meaning under 3 in. Short of an all out denial of a major issue, any dealer worth its salt wont turn away their customers. I also think they'd have to prove your lift caused the problem to...
Unless you want a large gap between your tire and fenders I'd suggest 34 or 35. The 3.5in kit lifts the front of the truck quite a bit. I did 2.5in level in the front and 35s.. 3.5in, anything less is going to look off.
From past experience- the new 11.5in wide tires available out there...
I've been pretty active on this thread, and learned quite a bit... check out the for sale part of the forum. I just put my ReadyLift 3.5in SST kit up for sale... Brand new!! PM me with any questions!
There are well over 700+ people and various threads on the "Clunk" issue... I have yet to hear of an official fix or the True root cause. That said-I have been dedicated FCA buyer for a long time, and I wouldnt let it keep you from buying. Eyes wide open- new generation of just about any...
That is a size.. I recommend you utilize a number of websites that do the calculations for you.. put tire comparison into google.. Yes it fits perfect... Ive done this many times.. 1st. Understand the factory wheel offset, then determine what you want to do. + wheel offset pushes the wheel...
My guy who installed my RL UCAs said the OEM UCA are not the way to go if you plan to lift or level your truck. Stock guys I'm sure it's fine. You spend 50k-70k on your truck. Aftermarket parts is the last place to look for the cheapest way out. It will bite you later..
You are going to have alot of tire outside of the wheel wells. Where I live 1. You'll get pulled over by the 5.0, 2. The road debris will destroy your truck. If your going to do that I'd get some fender flares on pronto. Your gas mileage will also get hammered, assume you already know that...
The height of the spacer and the amount of lift/level have nothing to do with eachother. I've leveled many trucks and did the same thing the 1st time. To the guy that said the engineers have this figured out he is CORRECT. There is much more than the height of the spacer that drives your...
I hated the chrome on my Laramie with the Sport Appearance package. I have it all off except for the doors (their coming off too).. the front and back I installed OEM black emblems.
I put on the Extang Trifecta 2.0, better than the last 10 tonnuea covers I've bought by a mile.. wasnt cheap, but built rock solid. I got mine for $400 delivered.
