Replacement shock absorbers on a 4-corner air-suspension Ram.

I wish that I had taken more pictures of that, as I too am still curious about that as well. On the passenger's side that I did first, I undid the factory SS clamp on the accordion boot, only to realize that it wasn't really necessary. The accordion boot appears to just be a dust cover. It...

OEM parts on 2020 1500 Sport with Air Suspension

The rear shock physically measures and mounts up the same on both coil or air sprung applications. But in the front the snap ring for the coil spring perch sets much higher on the shock body than the snap ring on the air sprung shock (from what I have seen in pictures) Here is a picture of my...

Anyone getting a 2025 with the I6 Hurricane?

Twin scroll would've been nice though.

    Air Suspension issue 2019 1500

Try this: From the outside, put your foot & shin down in the path of the running board before opening the door. Be brave and allow it to deploy and strike your leg. It will safely retract just like a garage door.

If the window stickers are claiming 21 MPG for the S/O. And 15 MPG for the H/O, what do you think the real world numbers will look like? We all know that the window sticker numbers are overly optimistic and are taken in best case scenarios.

Then continues to post.... 😁 thank you for your contribution. BTW - I disagree that the SST is any cheaper to produce than the Hemi.

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

That Tesla obviously must be running 3.92's !!! 😲

Yeah, I just put those others in just for fun. The real point of my question was to get a feel for how many current Hemi owners wanted more MPG and how many wanted more power. Because the Hurricane leans more toward increased power than improved MPG. And IMHO, the posts on the forum complain...

It just seems to me that I have seen far more posts here concerning MPG than I have seen concerning HP/TRQ And now Stellantis goes and offers us more HP/TRQ with the same MPG? But I'm sure that theiy study more about what will sell to future buyers than what previous owners want.

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

    I guy once told me that peak numbers don't mean squat,... but I think he drove a Penstar V6 I'll just leave this right here for you gearheads: 5.7 Hemi = 395 HP / 420 TRQ SST S/O = 420HP / 469 TRQ SST H/O = 540 HP / 521 TRQ Ram Charger = 663 HP / 615 TRQ Eco Diesel = 260 HP / 480 TRQ 6.4L...

I've owned beautiful sounding N/A V8s and straight sixes. When I went turbo on them the beautiful sounds were no more.

    What would you prefer?

I'm with you guys that are saying that options should be available. But the only options on offer are Standard Output and High Output. A lot went into that selection by the powers that be. My question is a simple one. How many Hemi owners want more power without sacrificing MPG? And how many on...

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

Alright Whisky I'm gonna put you down as being in the "gimme mo power" camp. So my Q 4 U is: HurriCrate or Hellephant ? PS - my last truck was 3.92 so I know which gear is superior.

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

Correct. That is why I asked the question. I feel the same as a couple of the previous posts, that nailed it perfectly. I already have enough power. Sure 500+ numbers are hella sexy. But in reality, ask yourself this honestly: How many times a month do you go wide open throttle and wish you had...
