Edit: Unplugging these did not resolve my 70+ MPH vibration. It would make sense to me that these could cause issues with RPM related vibration if defective though. Unfortunately mine is speed related.
I mentioned earlier the vibration at 60 mph came and went on a curve. I am betting that was fixed by new rims. Now I just have the **** Goodyear's which cause the constant vibration at 80+.
Maybe I can get the dealer to just warranty them all for Michelin's.
I have android and it was called vibration analysis. I think I wasn't using it right though. I had it on the rear floor board earlier, and this time I set it on my driver side door armrest.
I just went for another drive and I am unable to really feel the vibration anymore. At this point, so...
I hate that I can't give a definitive answer, but my drive went like this:
I took back the truck and immediately got on a not so straight highway (it wasn't a good testing road). I swear I still felt it, but it didn't feel as bad as it was. After that, it was hard to differentiate between any...
They got the rims today but they need another Goodyear tire. One of them isn't road force balancing. So far 3 tires have been replaced since I bought the vehicle due to road force balancing failure.
ETA updated to tomorrow.
Can anyone else with this issue confirm for me the following:
On a straight, flat, smooth road, I can feel the vibration's intensity pulse like it is on a 5 - 15 second curve. I can feel the intensity go from nothing at all, ramp up, and then peak, and come back down back to nothing. This is...
Dealer is replacing 2 rims and 1 tire. They're putting me in a rental until the rims come tomorrow.
Very happy with the experience at this dealership (Greenway in Orlando). I didn't even have to ask for a loaner.
Whatever it is, I just want it fixed. I'm wasting gas and time at this point. I PM'd RAM Cares last night as well. Luckily the dealership is already offering a rental if this goes from a few hours to a few days.
I had mine in to my local dealership today.
I dropped it off at 10:30 and they called me around 3 saying it was ready. I picked it up and at first all seemed well but then it started again about 3/4 the way home. I called the dealership before I got home and they told me to come back.
When I...
I just drove a new Cadillac XT4 ( with only 1500 miles) from the airport in Nashville and I am so destroyed by how smooth it is. It absolutely glides along on old and new pavement alike.
It's got Michelin Premier tires on it as well. Nice. I hate the Goodyear I have on my truck. I always...
It seems the system is more likely to activate if the car in front of you starts to brake and you don't make any changes to throttle input. Basically act as if you aren't even looking.
I've actually had the truck in cruise control mode, which is compatible with the auto start/stop. When I was stopped and the cruise control was on, the engine started itself and actually moved forward a few inches before the cruise control applied more brake pressure, just like a human.
It was...
Consider the following scenario:
- I am using a Google Pixel 3 XL via USB with Android Auto turned on.
- I am listening to FM or SiriusXM.
- A notification comes over my phone.
- The front speakers lower volume to play the notification.
At this point, I lose volume control and the front...
