At FCA Headquarters:
Executive: When the MDS kicks on, it kinda makes this low growling noise. What's up engineers?
Engineer: Okay, we can design an active noise cancellation system that will compensate for the drone...
Executive: Okay good! And while you're at it, I can everrrr so...
Good idea, I never thought to try that. I have been interested in a Pulsar but I am not going to get one until I start to get bored with the truck. Gotta save that trick for later :D
Honestly, at this point, I don't think it's enough to complain about. I am a beta tester for buying a 2019...
I talked about this in another thread and I think I am just fast with my foot. I've already gotten the 3 TSB's related to the tranny/etorque and sometimes it just feels like the gas pedal does nothing for a split second after the restart. My etorque starts when you let off the brake like...
Wow that "P2" system looks super nice. Maybe the next generation will have that...
My $.02 on etorque: eh. I'm not worried about reliability or anything like that. In fact, I believe the system will probably improve longevity of the main power plant since it is restarting with a belt driven...
I could understand if the vibration went away after a few minutes, but it doesn't. It is there all the time, just worse when cold.
The dealership is working things out with Chrysler. The tech I talked to today made me very happy in his methodology. Instead of just trying to balance...
When I left this morning, the truck was cold and hadn't been used in several days. The vibration was significantly worse than normal for the first few minutes of travel. It eventually settled down as the tires warmed up. My issue is not going to be related to airflow.
As far as the alignment...
Does anyone have the 20" LIMITED rims and have this issue?
Edit: Dropped at my local dealership for visit # 5. The service writer had the tech ride with me and we had a long discussion about the issue. He is going to take a more holistic approach to the issue and try to see if this is a...
I don't think the system reacts to this scenario. I believe it only alerts if the person in front of you starts to reduce speed and you don't change throttle input. The system isn't sensitive enough in my opinion, but I do get alerts when I am approaching cars that are turning right.
If you can't find any source of flame or some really burned stuff, not lightly melted, it's gotta be the sun. The outside plastic is solid right? If there was something electrical in the door, you would have holes or soft spots from within the plastic, not just on the outside surface.
I think...
The holiday is really screwing with my problem. I called the dealership today and asked for an update, and they said Hunter has not yet inspected their machine. My patience is slowly degrading. I am going to call Chrysler today and see what they have to say.
Edit: I am scheduling a new...
It is definitely gotta be this. The plastic on the exterior shows no signs of being heated from the interior of the door. The insulation underneath the leather looks untouched.
Yeah, the shift from first to second is fine. It's when it starts up, I expect this...
Not this...
Edit: I think I'm just ****ing crazy and expect perfection.
Maybe I'm just paranoid. Please see this video. Notice the slight delay / flutter around 1,000 RPM.
It isn't that bad but when I'm trying to scoot through an unprotected intersection, I want instant power.
So you're saying that the truck will accept throttle input almost immediately? Mine does roll forward from starting but normal throttle operation from my foot isn't accepted for about 1-2 seconds, so the truck actually slows down before normal throttle accel begins.
