    Power sidestep retracting delay.

I have a $70K Longhorn. It put me through hell and back the first year of ownership. The dealer has $15,000 of parts into it before the last repair of replacing the rear differential! Assembly quality on mine was abysmal. But..... Over the weekend, I test drove both (2019 F150 ) Raptor and...

    Power sidestep retracting delay.

It's funny that you mention the static sound. I can hear that in my left (driver) rear speaker as well. I also noticed that the loudness of the static is not affected by the gain (volume) control.

Power running board decided not to stow, tore off carport pillar

Thanks, that's good to know. I really didn't notice any pattern to it. I know that one time I got in the truck and started playing around with my squeaky center console armrest, then started the truck and the sidestep was still deployed. That was probably about a minute or so before starting....

    Power sidestep retracting delay.

I'm kind of worried that I won't notice when it happens sometime and snag the sidestep on a curb! That would be a very expensive repair.

Power running board decided not to stow, tore off carport pillar

Just found your post. I started a similar thread because when I searched nothing came up. My sidesteps do this as well. Sometimes they do not retract after self-deploying until I'm a few hundred feet to a quarter mile down the road. I can't figure out any rhyme or reason for this. I'm afraid...

    Power sidestep retracting delay.

I could have sworn that I started a thread about a year ago regarding an issue that I encounter randomly with my power sidesteps. I searched my content and could not find the post. I wanted to see if there was a software update that resolved the issue. Anyway, sometimes my power sidestep does...

A/C On, Fan Speed 4 at Every Cold Start

Mine does the same thing. It's really annoying! Going to the dealer Tuesday for a fluid leak. I plan to ask if there is a flash to fix that problem. You have to wonder what they were thinking when they programmed that logic. All the other vehicles that I've owned with automatic climate...

    Rear Cabin Rattle/Tick over bumps

Geez, we ought to start fixing these things for FCA instead of the dealers. I don't think my rear window rattles yet, ior maybe that's what the sub causes to vibrate...

    Rear Cabin Rattle/Tick over bumps

Here is the flocking tape that I used. It is 4mm thick. Those black plastic Velcro hooks will not move around in their retainers anymore. I still do get some headliner noise though. It must be, as someone else said, the headliner touching the edge of the roof rails...

    Oil Leak??

Got another picture from above the skid plate. I'm really too arthritic to be crawling under the truck, so it's a little out of focus. I do see a drop of yellowish fluid on the housing. Not sure what it is. But...

Key Fob Not Detected.....but....it's in my pocket!

What brand and model number did you install? I took my cheap LEDs out and reinstalled the original incandescent bulbs that were in from the factory. I have not had the "key fob not detected" error since. It's been a week now. I did purchase a Diode Dynamics HP5 to try but haven't installed it...

    Oil Leak??

Thanks for all the helpful advise. I had the engine oil changed back in June. If the dealer really did change it, (there was no sticker) I would think that any spilled oil would have subsided by now. The oil is very thin and clear so at least it doesn't look like it is coming from out of the...

    Oil Leak??

You guys on this thread appear very knowledgeable about these trucks. My 2019 Longhorn with only 3,000 miles on it has developed a leak. I found it by noticing oil drops on my driveway. I looked underneath the truck and found a very clear thin oil dripping off of the first skid plate (I have...

Looks like I have a leak...

Interesting. Hopefully the dealer will track it down. Thanks.

Looks like I have a leak...

That's all I can see at the moment as well. I tried using an endoscope, but I couldn't get it oriented well so that the image would display on my phone screen. I wish I could find an undercarriage photo or diagram of the truck so I could see what all is oil bearing in that area. Of course...

Looks like I have a leak...

So I made an appointment at the dealer to have this oil leak checked out. They are taking the truck in on the 26th. In the meantime, I checked the engine oil which is full and dirty. It's not the same color as the oil that I'm seeing dripping off of the skid plate. What else is in this area...

Looks like I have a leak...

Thank you Mark. So far, no issues with the dealer in all the repairs this truck has undergone.

Looks like I have a leak...

T True, but there is only about 1,200 miles on the oil. I'm just going to make another appointment and get it to the dealer. I guess I'll park it until they can look at it.

Looks like I have a leak...

Yeah, have to do some investigating. Oil was changed back in June so drips should be gone by now if any was spilled. Possibly drain plug is coming loose. Just noticed drips tonight. I'm hoping not an engine problem. This truck is a real lemon. The dealer has over $15,000 in parts into it...

Looks like I have a leak...

The truck only has about 3,400 miles on it. I had the dealer change engine oil at around 2,200 miles. So the light color would make sense if the leak is indeed engine oil. I would guess that transfer case oil or front differential oil would be darker. I would have never known if there were...
