    Loud Rumbling/Revving Noise

There is a TSB about it that involves the amplifier.

    Loud Rumbling/Revving Noise

Is it similar to a booming noise?

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

This is something I suggest you just take to your dealer. Especially once more bulletins are out about this noise. Essentially you need to remove all 8 cab bolts and lift the cab up enough to get the body isolator out. Then remove the reinforcement bracket. And inspect the body where the bracket...

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

I still do not have the noise. And I have been trying to get it to pop. So you guys know what I posted about the bolts was not a bulletin. It was a star publication. Difference is bulletins come with a detailed fix and lops and proven repair. A star publication is something that has been seen as...

    Adding Factory brake controller?

Just needs a sales code added and a reconfiguration. I know we charge like 50 bucks for that. But if they charge you anymore than 100 they are bending you over.

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

Did not tell me any specifics just that it is in the queue. I haven’t had any clunks since. Cautiously optimistic it’s fixed lol.

So everyone knows from what I am told this is in the queue to be published as a bulletin for a repair.

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

I just did it to both sides on my truck since I was there. But I believe it’s supposed to be just the drivers side.

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

This isn’t the cab mount itself. There’s the frame in blue. The mount is in the yellow. The bracket that is against the cab is in red. The bracket goes from inside the rocker to the cab. It sits between the mount and cab.

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

I agree which is very possible to be the fix but right now it’s all I have to work with. I right away said this is a stupid design having metal on metal in this spot.

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

Alright after a 18 miles drive home I’m about 99.99% confident my noise is gone. I normally heard it 15-20 times on a normal drive home. Didn’t hear it once. I almost forgot how quiet these cabs are!

Eventually. At this time there is nothing published.

Not a problem. I bleed mopar and want you all to enjoy your trucks. More FCA products on the road the better it is for me

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

lol it’s more so removing the bolts and just lifting up one side to get mount out. The cab does not get completely removed.

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

I think it’s in the stamping of the bracket and body that some get stamped just slightly differently. Like stated before I don’t believe it’s other trucks aren’t doing it. I think it’s the severity of the noise and some people simply not hearing it. Its not denting it as much as flattening it...

Front end clunk while turning - FIXED - TSB # 23-047-18

there is absolutely no way you will see this without removing the mount and bracket. This is between the bracket and body not frame and body. When you look under there you will see the bracket is bolted between the body mount and the body itself. Until that bracket is removed you will never see it.

It’s gonna have to be corrected with the stamping of the body panels. I thinks it’s well known to the big wigs in FCA. But they are likely looking for a “proper” repair and release of a bulletin. Be patient guys I’m doing all I can from my end to make sure this is well known to FCA. I’ll repost...
