I agree they get to hot to touch, BUT not hot enough to warrant high heat paint.

Mine has held up well, so far. I wouldn’t think it would be the heat, as the tips really don’t get super hot. High temp paint is really not even needed although is what I used. It wasn’t the extreme temp paint. There’s even tons of documented cases where people have even successfully painted...
