Completely free, no subscription needed unless you want extras.
By extras, I mean stuff like XM Guardian that gives you weather, traffic alerts, fuel prices, etc. Without the extras the navigator works just like the old windshield mounted units. It displays a live map of where you currently...
Yeah, I think width is an important factor that gets overlooked.
I have 285/75/18 (34.8") on OEM wheels, but they're only 11.5" wide so they fit with room to spare on my leveled '21. I suspect that same size may fit (for daily driving) without the level but that's just a guess.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but they won't fit. The brake calipers are too large. A 17" wheel won't clear them.
In fact the 18" wheel just barely does. It's so close that wheel weights will contact them if they're placed in the path of the caliper. In the below image, my weights were...
I'm just taking a shot here because I don't know, but as it reads, I would assume the Samsung version will only work on your Samsung device(s) such as phone, tablet, etc. The other version seems to be able to work on any device, so you could stream via your phone, or you computer. The computer...
Yeah, definitely not the tires and lift. I had no issues with mine, and there are plenty of others on here who have done the same without issue. Glad to hear they're revisiting it.
I'm running the same height with 35" tires too. I've had no issues with anything failing to work after the install. I don't know about the dealership's ability to reprogram, but I know they have specific measurements they have to follow with everything. It may not be that they can't...
Ha ha. Yeah, I type a lot but I'm pretty quick about it. I took a typing class in school because it was full of girls. This was back when we had a "computer lab" with maybe 10 units and CGA monitors. Computers weren't a household item, and they certainly weren't something you used every...
Yeah, it's a good service. And the $10 shouldn't change, it's been about that much for years. I think it used to be 8 or so when I first got it, but they haven't changed the rates much at all.
I think it's worth the $10/month for either Spotify or Pandora. They're very similar and I don't...
Yeah, that's a free trial of premium. I can explain, hear me out:
It's completely free, there's no payment due upfront, no credit card info required to start, no identification verification or anything like that. You simply sign up with your email address and you're ready to go. Super easy...
Well, you've got to put a giant sticker right next the obnoxious airbag one on the visor that can't be removed, of course.
Well, not to be a wet blanket and kill the humor we've got going here, but I'll answer your question with a serious answer. I suspect the above is the difference. The...
I'm far from an audiophile so maybe I'm not the best gauge, but I've found XM to sound on par with standard broadcast radio. When one of the broadcast stations is transmitted in HD, I think the FM sounds a little better, but only marginally. To tune to one or the other without hearing the...
You are correct, that the measured rim width vs actual width will impact the width of the tire (albeit minimally). That's why I noted that my calculations were "measured on those given rim widths". Each tire manufacturer uses whatever size wheel they want to designate the width of the tire, so...
Yes, I do. Obviously appearance is subjective, but I think they've got just enough style so they don't look cheap while not being so over the top that they are gaudy and annoying to keep clean.
When I do any mods, my goal is that my truck doesn't look like every other one off the showroom...
Agreed. I like quality audio too, but "low quality" songs are better than constantly searching for a song/station you like if you're out of your normal listening area.
Ha ha, yes!!! I remember transferring files over to the MyGig with a USB drive. IIRC you could "rip" a cd to it, straight from the cd player. Unless I'm confusing that with a different car I had.
And I prefer terra firma, so fortunately all the bases I've been on have been actual physical...
