First off - INSURANCE COMMISSION DOESN'T FORCE MSRP. That is a LIE that the dealers tell you - to get you to pay MSRP. I know this - BECAUSE I CALLED THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONERS OFFICE and they told me so.
Ziegler will also "upcharge you" for a Florida policy.
I went with another dealer -...
Drove EVERYTHING a year ago. Except for the Titan.
Looked at one on the exterior, climbed in one to check out the interior - did ZERO FOR ME. Didn't even turn me on enough to do a test drive. And I did drive EVERYTHING OUT THERE - with the F-150 Platinum a close second to the RAM.
That...
Stupid crazy $$ - for a JEEP. Since I'm waiting some for deals to be had on the Yukon - there may be some more info that comes out on the new Grand Wagoneer - but nothing so impressive that would be me up to the $100K level for a JEEP. Might get me there on a 1500 Based Durango. Nahhh. $83K...
Mazel Tov - as my tribe says.
Trying to make a deal on a '21 Yukon. No one will budge on the price - so I wait until summer. Looking at a Denali - significantly more $$ than a Ram.
As I've commented in other threads - love my Ram - but an SUV meets my needs better...
Rick
Like the resale values we're seeing lately.
Wish they were discounting the new Yukons. Guess I'm gonna have to wait until the summer - and hope these values hold.
That was actually the side step that got recalled.
The AB part suffix indicates the latest revision. Not sure what changes were made.
I got an AB version - it had a bolt hole in the step that didn't exist on the frame. It secured just fine with the 2 bolts there were holes for.

Like I said - coulda/shoulda/woulda - waited another year for the new GM SUV's (or wait another year for the next-gen Honda Pilots to come out -they always served me well).
Don't get me wrong - totally LOVE my Ram. Really (still) the sweetest pickup out there - especially value-wise.
New...
Coulda, shoulda, woulda.
Kind of wishing I waited for the '21 Yukons to come out.
But the fact of the matter is - for features and, almost as important (or MOST IMPORTANT - depending on which way you look at it) VALUE - still can't touch the Ram Truck. A "fully loaded" limited is still...
"Selfish" - eh?
I run a Weathertech Wide Hitch Step on my receiver. Aside from protecting against "love taps" (by me, or TO ME) - it helps me get into the bed.
I't not steel - so it will shatter on a hard impact - and likely before transferring much energy into the frame. It's saved me some...
Gator Hybrid. Fits with no issues. If you opt for the factory sliding bed divider - you will have to cut the rails down to make it work (it hits the corner brackets and the clamps for the cover.
There may be some manufacturers that have modified their covers to work with the MFT by this time...
The air systems can be a little weird - and they will constantly try to self level - even with the truck off. I've walked by the truck after it's been off for hours, and hear the compressor going.
I always use entry/exit - because I'm short/fat and it makes it easier to haul my butt into the...
At 5'5" and kinda chubby - this was the one feature that got me into my RAM over the next closest (F-150 Platinum). Beware though - the availability of tonneau covers covers that are compatible with it.
There are aftermarket brackets that will make most covers fit - but it's still a crapshoot...
My incident happened when I was nowhere near the shift knob. I was a few blocks away from my house - stopped for a stop sign - foot off brake, on gas - and it dropped out of drive.
Hasn't happened since...
Rick
I wouldn't use the GAS AND THE BRAKE - JUST THE BRAKE.
Do you really want a truck turning the wheel on it's own, to move any faster than an idle/creep anyways.
The system works "pretty well" - does a lot more "pullups" than I would. Doesn't center perfectly in "side by side" spots.
In todays...
Should be a vote in the middle - I've Used It - It's OK, but I don't really use it often.
I've tried it out a couple of times - just for kicks. It's better at ID'ing a parallel spot than just eyeballing it.
OTOH- I had to parallel park a tractor & 53' trailer for my CDL road test - so I think...
Not a huge fan of the GY Touring they put on these trucks. I had to replace @ 14K miles. They ride nice, and seem to "stick" when brand new - and go downhill from there (then again - so does every tire, but I found the GY's to go south faster than others).
I typically run Michelin Premiers...
