Interesting. Did you order it hoping it would work, or did you contact someone that told you it works?
I only see the 4th gen listed as compatible on all the listings I have seen.
I get it, and I am a buy once cry once guy 99.9% of the time.
If the US made ones were $180 vs $50, Id buy the US, but I could buy 6 9-Drives and still be less than these others.
And from what I have read they work great/same as others for 1/6th the price.
People in this very thread have issues...
Just a tip for anyone else installing hooks.
For the long 8" or whatever bolt...
I just put my 2 fingers on the back of the bolthead (theres a washer there) and applied slight downward pressure, then unscrewed the long bolt the rest of the way out with my other hand.
Whatever that clip is inside...
I know there are a couple throttle controller threads, but I'll ask here...
Is there not a "9-Drive" compatible with the 5th Gen 1500's?
I see they list the 5th Gen 3/4 tons.
Their like $50-$80, but model info is not really reliable.
Has anyone used one?
I love those wheels btw.
Also, I just installed tow hooks as well and have a question.
Did your truck have the star washers on the bottom of the trim pieces that slid into the body?
Your supposed to re-use them on the new bezels.
Mine did not so the bottom of the plastic bezel is not secured and...
Your right, I just have an odd work schedule always out of town.
Its difficult for me to schedule things like this so I am hoping to get a feel for their willingness to fix it beforehand.
Following this thread since I just discovered the 2 cracks today on my new to me 2020 laramie.
Its been raining for 24hrs and the headliner does not feel wet, there was one drop/bead of water at the top of the window at the frame.
Contacted a local dealer, however its not where I bought the...
Any update Shifts and Grins?
Im going to have a local shop make an aluminum one I guess.
I would honestly like a plastic splash guard type of material, but understand its more difficult to make.
I have to look again, but I might see if I can use the 4 bolts the active air dam was attached too...
So, mine is cracked in 2 places above the rear sliding window.
Its not leaking right now as far as I can tell.
Will the dealer still replace it?
Or is it not worth messing with if its not leaking?
Removed both of mine today.
I just taped the connector and zip tied it up.
But I really would like a splash guard between the bumper and cross member.
I dont think metal makes sense since it would only be attached to the bumper where the old passive air dam was correct? Or is there a metal piece...
Someone got me the Red Hound foam organizers linked here.
I guess it doesnt come with one for the middle tray. The one behind the cup holders.
The kit is OK, I might order the other plastic ones and mix and match
Thanks for this info.
I think ill try heat shrink and tape, but im guessing your way is safest.
Seems like just keeping it dry is the key.
Mine comes off in the next couple days. Fingers crossed no CEL
Oh ok. I didnt realize you could get all the colors in a limited night edition.
I have a laramie night edition, and colors were limited to white, black, red, silver, gray.
I didnt know these were an option.
I just found out about the Belltechs and ordered those today. Im going to try to cancel them I think.
Bilstein, Eibach, and Belltech have the same style adjustable struts? All anyone talks about are spacers and Bilsteins.
Are these the ones? Looks like you can...
