I was getting about 20 mpg lately.
I removed both my lower air dams for some front end painting….
subjectively, i was driving the same as before but my avg mpg dropped about 1.5 mpg.
Drove it for two weeks like that. Consistent results…
put dams back on thurdsay. Friday mpg went back up to 20...
I like mine. It fit my bighorn.
I dont like the orange lights. Easy to remove them.
the letters work as delivered,
but i am adding LEDs to mine, so they wont go on till they are lit.
I flip flopped alot between the rebel style and the trx style.
i ended up with the trx because i could remove the amber lights.
the rebel lights were built into the frame.
Put the front end back together.
Only thing left is the LED lights and i might not get them made until well into winter. Sooo.
its funny, making the lights dosn’t faze me,
but tieing into the trucks wiring freaks me out.
I did a little experimenting with the eyes and the best thing i came up with was a little dot in the middle of the eye.
and i still didnt like it enough to keep it.
I know a guy who knows a guy who works for dewalt…
i told him i wanted to be able to remove wheels and maybe a sway bar…
he said he would “get me a impact”.
not sure what i will recieve.
