Yeah its definitely disappointing, ill post some pictures once I wash the truck its filthy at the moment. The tires easily gave me over an inch of lift. I was concerned about them looking too skinny but they look fine. I wanted to go with the 285/60R20s but theyre on backorder so I said screw...

    Eibach E60-27-011-03-10 - Height Adjustable Shocks Installation/Discussion

I hit 10k on the Falkens so i figured i would take them off while i can still get a couple bucks for them. The new tires totally changed the appearance of the truck in a great way, they also drive better then the falkens. Im looking forward to getting them offroad in the snow

    Eibach E60-27-011-03-10 - Height Adjustable Shocks Installation/Discussion

The 5100s on setting 4 left me with about a 1/2 inch of rake. Im interested to see how the eibachs work out, ill be watching. Are you doing tires and wheels?

    ORP Spring Difference?

I just had 275/65R20 Duratracs installed on my BTS, the truck was supposed to have the springs replaced with ORP springs(see the Built to Serve thread) but the dealership installed the same springs by accident. I also had them put the 5100s on the front on setting 4 and it almost leveled my...

Spring-Gate Update: You guys are going to love this. I get my truck back from the dealership, get home, turn the wheel to the side to see the spring and it’s the same Non-ORP spring. The dealership installed the same exact springs(0236AB) that were already on the truck. I didnt notice at the...

    Thoughts on 2021 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel vs 2021 Ford F150 V6 Hybrid?

The Ford may have better fuel economy but the ramboxes and the MFT are worth the loss by going with the Ram. I can speak for the Ramboxes(dont have the MFT) and they are the best invention any manufacturer has included on a pickup in the last few years and I will not get a pickup without them...

    Mopar Door Sill Guards

Ill take some when my truck gets back, currently at the dealership getting springs replaced and tires. If you check amazon some have posted pictures of their results. They do a good job of preventing scratches and also provide a bit extra grip

    Mopar Door Sill Guards

Not sure about the Mopar ones but I installed the Red Hound ones which are like rubberized grip tape and they do the job and look great

I wasn’t looking for a BTS when i found mine, just saw the dealer was getting a truck that had the specs i wanted. When it arrived they didnt have a clue what it was. You don’t need to be active/retired military to own a BTS, and it hardly qualifies as “stolen valor”. I am neither military or...

The dealership provided a Patriot Blue Bighorn as a loaner and all i have to say I am jealous of those who scored a Patriot Blue BTS, it really is a great color and doesn't show dirt like my black BTS

Spring-gate Update: Truck is at the dealership now and is getting the new springs installed. They told me I should have the truck back by the end of the day, i’ll post measurements when i get the truck back but im also having the Bilsteins installed(finally) and new tires

Any of you guys have done 6112's in the front ?

Icon makes 1.5” rear springs or you can go with the ORP springs for 1” and there a couple bucks cheaper than the Icons. Eventually my plan is to have the 6112s in front on the 6th or 7th setting with Icons springs and the 5160s. I also probably upgrade to the RC UCAs too at that point

Best mid budget suspension upgrade for daily hwy driving and mild offroading

I wouldn’t be surprised if Eibach didn’t collaborate with Bilstein on their shocks, Eibach already provides springs to Bilstein(the ones on the 6112 are made by Eibach). Either way they look like a much better setup than stock or a leveling spacer and Im looking forward to seeing them on your...

    BILSTEIN 6112 ✔

I contacted shockwarehouse about the availability and their customer service said they are basically available as a preorder, they dont have them in stock yet but will ship them as they become available. The CS said most likely first week in Nov

    Bilstein 5100

Sorry meant that comment for @cjpofd, he has the BTS with added ORP springs and the 285/60R20s but i appreciate your comment and the rebel wheels look great. Duratracs are good AT tires and are very popular here in the NE. They are good mix of what I need specifically in a tire and I know...

    Bilstein 5100

Have the front 5100s settled anymore? And how do you like the duratracs? How much of a gap is there between the tire and the front wheel well and what impact on ride fuel economy have you had. Im placing the order for the tires on monday.

Best mid budget suspension upgrade for daily hwy driving and mild offroading

If you add the ORP springs to the front and snag either the 5100s or the 6112s and put them at the 2” setting, you will have a total gain of 3”

Best mid budget suspension upgrade for daily hwy driving and mild offroading

The 5160s are only a rear shock, they have a reservoir. The 6112s are a 60mm partial coilover which are better suited to help with dampening and more resistant to shock fade than your typical shock or 5100. Fox shocks are also a good alternative but a bit more expensive. For what the 6112 and...

Best mid budget suspension upgrade for daily hwy driving and mild offroading

For just over $1000 you will be able to get the Bilstein 6112s and 5160s. The 6112s should be out within the next few weeks. The Mopar UCAs are cheap $100 for the set, or go with the Rough Country UCA for just under $400. Save the rest of the $2k for tires
